With the development of science and technology,high school students are exposed to various kinds of non classroom knowledge.Now the high school students are in a highly developed media society.It is necessary to learn how to deal with and understand the news content,so it is very necessary for the high school students to learn how to deal with and understand the news content.Although the new curriculum has advocated the study of news,the specific development of news reading and practice is still very difficult for teachers to teach.The examination oriented education under the Chinese college entrance examination system has limited the contact and practice of the students and the society.Based on the requirements of the new curriculum standard of high school Chinese in high school,we should meet the students' basic teaching task and meet the learning needs of different students and expand the students' vision.So the implementation of the elective course of news reading and practice is of great significance so that students can learn to read and improve their learning.pay more attention to society,improve their writing ability.And it is also helpful to compulsory courses.The textbook news reading and practice is divided into six chapters,"definition of news" "news information""news communication""news feature" "news comment" "reportage",with a total of 23 articles,including 17 domestic works and 6 foreign works.The selection of teaching materials is representative,fully reflecting the characteristics of news,meeting the needs of students' journalistic practice,and supplementing and extending the required textbooks.The teachers and students in NO.1 middle school of Tongyu pay less attention to the reading and practice of the elective courses than the required courses,and the teachers' attention is slightly less than the students.In the classroom,most teachers can follow the new curriculum standard,adopt various teaching methods,take the students as the main body and Practice for the purpose.The nature of the curriculum of news reading and practice determines the importance of practice.In the observation and visit,it is found that Tongyu NO.1 middle School attaches great importance to the cultivation of students' writing ability,and holds a lot of practical activities,such as student news reading salon,the establishment of the public platform of the class,the filling out of the corresponding task list and so on.In terms of curriculum evaluation,the school pays more attention to process evaluation,student self-evaluation,so that students can get the second growth in self-evaluation and mutual evaluation.News reading and practice has aroused the students' interest in the study of the news,improved the students' ability to write news,and increased the relationship between the students and the society,and the teaching methods of the teachers were also different.Although some achievements have been achieved in the process of news reading and practice in NO.1 middle school of Tongyu,there are also many shortcomings,the lack of some teachers' news literacy,the lack of overall grasp of the course system for the elective course of news,and the fact that the students' theory of news learning and practice is still not very close.Based on the above problems,we put forward the corresponding solutions and strengthen the theoretical study of the teachers.In the spare time,the school can hold a series of lectures,set up some famous magazines for the teachers,and the teachers should make a lot of writing exercises.Teachers and students should pay more attention to the stylistic features of the news and pay more attention to the news.Connecting with compulsory courses,basing on teaching materials and developing teaching materials,let students know more about news and build a bridge between theory and future professional choice.
