<The Chinese Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 edition)> put forward that "reading practical texts can accurately and quickly grasp the main content and information,and have their own thinking and judgment on the materials involved in the texts." As one of the practical texts,the teaching of news works play an important role in the implementation of the new curriculum standards,and some teachers have misunderstandings in the implementation of high school news reading teaching,which results in the unsatisfactory effect of high school news reading teaching.Nowadays,with the emergence of a large number of news works,it is sometimes difficult for an adult to make a rational judgment,let alone for a senior high school student whose physical and mental development is not yet mature.Therefore,it is particularly important to study the teaching of reading news works in senior high school.Based on this,we use literature research method and investigation research method to investigate the current situation of the implementation of high school news reading teaching,analyze the reasons for the problems in current news reading teaching,and then improve the teaching implementation strategy.The article is mainly divided into the following four parts:The first part is introduction,which mainly discusses the basis of topic selection,literature review,research methods and research value.The second part is an overview of the teaching of reading news works in senior high school.This part defines the concepts of news works,teaching of news works and teaching of reading news works in senior high school.It seeks the teaching basis from three aspects: the requirements of curriculum standards in senior high school,the teaching rules of news works and the psychological characteristics of senior high school students,and discusses the value of teaching of reading news works.The third part is analysis of the current situation and problems in the teaching of reading news works in senior high school.This part takes teachers and students of four high schools in Wafangdian as the object of investigation.It finds that there are some problems in the teaching process,such as unclear teaching objectives,rigid teaching content,single teaching methods and imperfect teaching evaluation system.Then it analyses existing problems.The fourth part puts forward improvement strategies from five aspects: enhancing teaching awareness,defining teaching objectives,choosing teaching content,enriching teaching methods and improving teaching evaluation.Based on the current situation of high school news reading teaching,the article optimizes the implementation of news reading teaching,which is conducive to the systematization of high school news reading teaching.Hope to provide ideas for teachers teaching.
