"People with talent are a strategic resource for China as it endeavors to stay ahead in international competition" was mentioned in the report of 19th CPC National Congress,it also affirm the position of talent in the development of our country.As our country’s economy has entered a new normal,the regional economy is increasingly driven by human capital instead of labor,which means the talent resources are becoming more and more important for the economic development and social progress of the region.Whether a region can gain a development advantage in the fierce competition depends largely on whether the city has the talent resources that matches its development.In the current background of the white hot competition between cities,regions and provinces,talent has become a strategic scarce resource.Wuhan is the city with the largest number of college students in our country,although the reserve of talent resources is abundant,it has been faced with a serious brain drain problem,which has brought many adverse effects on the sustainable development of Wuhan’s economy and society.So,it has important theoretical and practical significance to study college students’ willingness to work in Wuhan and its influencing factors,so that we can explore the deep causes of brain drain in Wuhan.Which will help to get more college students working in Wuhan,promote the rational flow of talent and the coordinated development of regional.This paper focuses on the following aspects of research and analysis:(1)Having a detailed review on college students’ employment status,urban selection and employment policies.And this paper also focuses on the analysis of the factors influencing the selection of college students’ employment cities.(2)On the basis of literature review and interview,and combined with the relevant theoretical basis,working out a questionnaire to study the influencing factors of the employment intention of college students in Wuhan.Then this paper takes the university students in Wuhan as the research object,investigates and analyzes their intention to stay,and finds out the current situation of Wuhan students’ employment intention.(3)Analyzing the collected data on the basis of using SPSS statistical software,and obtained the influence factors by exploratory factor analysis.Then getting the degree of the influence factors through regression analysis.(4)Putting forward countermeasures and suggestions to enhance college students’ intention of working in Wuhan according to the analysis conclusions.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The situation of brain drain in Wuhan is serious,and in terms of the present situation of intention of working in Wuhan,college students’ intention of working in Wuhan is general;in that men are more inclined to choose working in Wuhan than women,and native Hubei students are clearly more inclined to choose working in Wuhan.(2)In terms of influence factors of intention of working in Wuhan,there are four factors that affects the intention:urban attributes factor,living conditions factor,policy factor and emotion factor,all of them are positive influence factors to the college students’ intention of working in Wuhan.In the case,the more the four factors enhancing,the more the college student inclined to choose working in Wuhan.In addition,policy factors have the largest influence on college students’ employment intention.(3)In order to enhance the college students,intention of working in Wuhan,the specific countermeasures proposed in this paper are as follows:optimizing the urban attributes of Wuhan to enhance the attraction to college students;improving the living environment of Wuhan to improve the quality of life of college students;improving the policy system of the"Promoting Students Working in Wuhan Project" to solve the concerns of the college students;establishing the emotional bond to improve the enthusiasm of the college students to work in Wuhan.
