In Chinese teaching of primary school,using pictures is a traditional method to teach.At first,writing on the blackboards was the main form of it.With the coming of "picture reading era",full of our life,image has great influence on teaching also.The rich picture resources has enriched the teaching methods of using pictures.Then The teachers can use more direct-vision teaching methods such as illustrations,multimedia images,picture books,and even non visible images,mental pictures.Some researchers believe that Chinese teaching should conform to the trend of the times to make more use of picture teaching,cultivating pupils' visual ability,that is,the ability to read pictures.While others believe that the excessive attention to the cultivation of picture ability will make pupils learn language and words on the surface,and lose their ability to feel the language.On this basis,at the first part,the author hopes to analyze the gain and loss of various ways of using picture in teaching(teaching in grade one to grade two)objectively by combing the research of picture teaching;The second part,the author hopes to explain the significance and importance of picture teaching with the author's theoretical knowledge and actual case analyzed;the third part is the author's questionnaire.The actual investigation is to grasps the present situation,to seeks the reason why these problems arise;the fourth part is the author's key and the innovative part,combined with the three parts forward,put forward some pertinent suggestions about the application of using pictures in the Chinese teaching on elementary stage.
