As a special literary genre,poetry has a very important position in the history of Chinese and foreign literature.Modern poetry is free in form,open in connotation,not confined by formality and rhyme.It is suitable for expressing the thoughts and emotions of modern people and is a kind of poetic genre in contrast to classical poetry.The current junior middle school language including department compiled version Grade 7-9(Grade 7 volume one-Grade 8 volume two),Sujiao version,Renjiao version,Hujiao version,Chinese version and other versions in the design of the teaching material content,the compilation of more than 10 modern poetry.The content and style are very different.It means that the modern poetry gained review and return really in the aesthetic orientation,value position in the junior middle school Chinese teaching.The introduction of a large number of modern poetry will bring immeasurable positive influence to improve students’ Chinese quality and enrich students’ spiritual world.The teaching way of modern poetry profoundly affects the improvement of students’ Chinese accomplishment.However,it is not very ideal with the current modern poetry teaching situation,.Many front-line teachers is very conservative and obsolete in teaching ideas and teaching methods in this field,"stereotypical" poetry teaching,combined with the modern poetry class topic in the evaluation of the examination proportion is low,even no.The teachers lack the enthusiasm for in-depth study of modern poetry,and the students lack the motivation to actively explore modern poetry learning.A good way for poetry teaching can make students enjoy in the process of learning,feel happy,to learn,strive to build open and class,has the vigor,the depth of Chinese poetry and explore a road of Chinese modern poetry teaching of junior high school of keeping the pace with The Times.Therefore,it is necessary to dig deeply into the key elements of poetry in content theme,artistic conception,language training,artistic technique and emotional attitude and values in the selection of teaching content.So,it is necessary to dig deeply into the key elements of poetry in content theme,artistic conception,language training,artistic technique and emotional attitude and values in the selection of teaching content.We should be good at digging up the text to carry out exploratory activities,focus on the problem drive to enhance the exploration ability,and extend the scientific summary to consolidate the research results.
