The purpose of this study is to explore the dimensions of the key competencies of middle school chemistry teachers,to develop a measurement scale tool for middle school chemistry teachers' key competencies,and to investigate the current level of key competency of middle school chemistry teachers so as to better serve education and teaching.Firstly,after reading a large amount of literature and materials,this study adopts a combination of open questionnaires and interviews to preliminarily construct the structural system of middle school chemistry teachers' key competencies;then it semantically encodes the structural system and forms a problem project database.Through repeated testing and correction of the questionnaire,316 middle school chemistry teachers in different regions were tested,and tens of thousands of data were collected.SPSS 17.0 was used for statistical analysis and exploratory factor analysis and screening.The theoretical system of the key competency scale for middle school chemistry teachers was initially established,and the following conclusions were drawn:(1)construction of the key competency scale index system of middle school chemistry teachers:Through this study,the core literacy measurement scale of middle school chemistry teachers was finally obtained,including 10 dimensions,namely,interpersonal insight;Teaching art;Responsibility;Education concept;Occupational fitness;Independent development;Practice innovation;Self-drive and monitoring;Respect students;Organization and coordination.There are 43 project indicators for 10 dimensions.(2)scale reliability analysis:The data statistics and analysis conducted by SPSS 17.0 software show that the internal consistency coefficient and split-half reliability of all dimensions and scales meet the measurement requirements,and the reliability of this scale is high.Validity analysis,for content validity,due to the large number of literature references in this study,and the use of expert advice on the scale has been repeatedly amended,so its content validity is more ideal.The homogeneity test and confirmatory factor analysis of the scale show that the correlations among dimensions,dimensions and scales are very significant.Therefore,this scale has good structural validity.Conclusion:the preliminary scale reliability index is ideal,which combines the characteristics of chemistry and can be used as a tool for the core attainment level of middle school chemistry teachers.
