“One-day life is a curriculum," life activities contain rich educational value,and the siesta as an important part of life activities is easily overlooked.In addition,the development of autonomy has important meaning for the physical and mental health and harmonious development of young children.We should pay attention to the development of early children' s autonomy.Therefore,the study makes any efforts to devote to the study of how to promote the development of autonomy in the siesta of the case of children aged 5-6.This research mainly adopts the action research method,which is also one of the most popular method in education field,supplemented by participatory observation and semi-structured interviews to collect data.Based on the diagnosis of the problem,it tries to construct the researching framework of"action research on promoting the autonomous development of children's nap time".We choose the case of children aged 5-6 in a class in Hunan Province as our subjects,researchers use participatory observation and interviewing research as our method.First of all,according to the current situation,we learn that the phenomenon that teachers help children do everything still exists during the nap,children's self-reliance cannot develop.And the phenomenon that the children often pretending to be asleep and disturb others frequently happens,and the ability of self-control of children at their stage needs to be developed.Simultaneously,most young children' s self-service needs to be improved.To solve all the problems mentioned above,this study adopts the Helix action model to study the spiral cycle model and follows the"plan-implement-reflection-reaction" mentality to design an action research to promote the autonomous development of naps of children aged 5-6,through practice,reflection,Adjust and practice to promote the autonomous development of naps of children aged 5-6.The autonomy of children aged 5-6 has been significantly improved with our efforts.It has been found in research that the use of children's songs,graphic illustrations,storytelling,conversations,and setting examples for young children can effectively promote the development of the child's autonomy during the nap.It is clear that the development of independence in the siesta of children is not only influenced by their personalities and social cognition,but also by teachers,parents and kindergartens.Based on the analysis of the research results,We have drawn the following conclusions:(1)The development of early children' s autonomy during the nap period should be based on their own personalities;(2)the professionalism degree of their teachers is the essential factor for the development of young children's autonomy;(3)relaxed class atmosphere helps the development of early children' s autonomy during the nap section.(4)home communication and cooperation are cornerstones for children' s developing of self-management of napping.
