Study On The Status And Influencing Factors Of Tourism Management Undergraduates' Outlook On Career Selection

With the rise of the modern service industry and the increasing of people's living standard,people have more free time than before,and it is common for us to have a vacation with salary.The people's enthusiasm for tourism has been released.At present,China's domestic tourism market prospect is board,and the demand potential is large.In the future for a period of time,China's domestic tourism will maintain a high-speed and growth steady.Tourism higher education has also got rapid development.Nowadays,the scale of tourism higher education continues to expand and the number of enrollment increases year by year,which can meet the needs of the industry for high quality professionals.However,the graduation situation of students in tourism education is not optimistic,and the phenomenon of brain drain is serious.The reasons for this situation are various.In addition to the pressure brought by the objective reality such as enrollment expansion and the financial crisis,the immature employment outlook of college students is also an important reason for this phenomenon.This This paper mainly studies the current situation and the influencing factors of employment outlook of undergraduates majoring in tourism management.First of all,this paper describes and analyzes the current situation of tourism management students'employment outlook,including four aspects:employment cognition,employment standards,employment attitude and employment orientation.Secondly,the paper analyzes the influencing factors of tourism management major students' employment outlook,and makes students score these influencing factors to obtain the importance of these factors in tourism management major students and the extent to which they think the tourism industry meets these factors.Finally,from these analyses,some countermeasures to improve the employment outlook of students majoring in tourism management are obtained.Compared with the previous research which is mainly descriptive analysis,this paper objectively studies the tourism management students,employment outlook from the perspective of quantitative analysis,and compared with the previous research from the school,enterprise perspective,this paper is from the perspective of the main body of employment-college students.The paper can be divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction of the thesis.Including the research background of the selected topic;Research status at home and abroad;Significance of the topic;Research methods and research content,difficulties and potential innovation in this study.The second part discusses the relevant concept and the relevant theory of job choice.The relevant concept Including "the concept of job choice","the concept of job choice view",and"the concept of college students' view",then analyzed the feature of the college students' view of choosing a job;The theoretical basis of this study includes career "anchor theory","trait factor theory" and "career development theory".The third part studies the employment situation of undergraduate students majoring in tourism management.Including questionnaire settings;Sample selection and data collection;Through the data analysis,this paper analyzes the job-hunting concept of the college students from various angles,and analyzes the IPA influencing factors of the survey results.In the fourth part,according to the analysis results of the data,the author puts forward the countermeasures to improve the employment outlook of students majoring in tourism management,including students themselves,schools,enterprises,families and society.The fifth part summarizes the survey.The sixth part puts forward the limitations and future research direction of the survey.
