High school chemistry curriculum standard is the basic basis of teachers ' teaching practice. In recent years, the United States,Finland and other countries have carried out curriculum reform, issued a new version of high school chemistry curriculum standards, leading a new and more scientific curriculum development trend.China also issued a new version of the "ordinary high school chemistry curriculum standards" in 2017 and will implement it in the autumn of 2018.This means that teachers need to thoroughly interpret the new curriculum standards in a short period of time, and under the premise of accurately grasping the development trend of international curriculum, update the teaching design plan so as to make teaching practice more innovative.Based on the translating and collating of a total of 8 high school chemistry curriculum standards at home and abroad, this paper compares the two editions of the curriculum standards in China,6 countries(regions)respectively with the curriculum objectives, curriculum structure, curriculum content and curriculum evaluation in four dimensions, sums up the characteristics of the new curriculum standards in China, sums up the international development trend of the current curriculum standards.According to this,by the best use of curriculum standard,it can provide enlightenment for the teacher in teaching practice from the above 4 dimensions.(1)New curriculum objectives in China aims to "develop the key competence of chemistry",which meets the requirements of the international curriculum objectives for the all-round development of talents. Before determining the teaching goal, teachers should define the content and value of each key competence, and then according to lesson type, design the teaching goal based on the development of all chemical key competence and mainly different chemical key competence;(2)The level and comprehensiveness of the curriculum is the common trend for the countries to divide the curriculum structure, and the new curriculum structure in China is more detailed.Teachers should define the orientation and function of each level at the beginning of teaching, and take the advantage of comprehensive courses to feel the interflow of knowledge between various disciplines for students;(3)All countries have divided the curriculum content into themes and emphasized the scientific inquiry activities. In the new edition content requirement of China, except for thereduction of the difficulty of "chemical reaction and energy",the depth and breadth of knowledge on the other topics have been improved.Part of themes emphasizes the basic knowledge, teachers need to update the content of teaching, the design of teaching programs. In addition,in order to ensure the effective development of scientific inquiry activities, teachers should reasonably choose the content of inquiry and control the degree of inquiry;(4)All countries have advocated a diverse approach to evaluate and stressed the importance of performance assessment in day-to-day activities. In the teaching, teachers can improve the students' attention to the evaluation of daily performance by designing the evaluation form of daily performance and counting the score of daily performance into the total score, promote students to develop their own key competence of chemistry in their daily performance.
