The state attaches great importance to the healthy development of teenagers’ physique.Under the state council on the national fitness plan(2016-2020)explicitly put forward to teenagers as the focus of the crowd,the implementation of the national fitness program vigorously popularize youth sports activities,improve the physical quality youth.It is that major responsibility of the school to develop the student ’sport activities and to enhance the health of the adolescent student,which is the main place to participate in the sports and to carry out sports education.Due to the characteristics of the different education object,schools for the mentally retarded students in physical education teaching has particularity and limitations.In terms of motor development,the Mentally Retarded students follow normal development order,but some slow the development of motor skills,and the degree of disorder is heavier,the more serious the impact.In terms of sports participation due to the Mentally Retarded students’ cognitive level is poorer,sports tend to appear insufficient participation in sports,and sports consciousness is weak.Adhering to the guiding ideology of "health first",stimulating students’ interest in sports,developing students’ physical ability and training students’ awareness and habit of physical exercise is mentally retarded schools for the basic goal of physical education curriculum.Only for physical education of schools for the mentally retarded mentally retarded student’s sports performance in-depth,comprehensive and systematic Understanding and the understanding,to grasp the mentally retarded students today is the most suitable sports demand,scientifically for the mentally retarded students in physical and mental health education,the development of sports skills,improve the mentally retarded students sports participation.This research from 4 provinces,each choose a public schools for the mentally retarded,randomly selected from 145 mentally retarded students as the research object,select three teachers as the interview objects.The research adopts observation and interview.On the basis of schools for the mentally retarded compulsory education 《sports and health curriculum standard》 of the relevant required by the 《schools for the mentally retarded mentally retarded students sports performance summary sheet》.Examine Mentally Retarded students in sports and health class and the big recess activities to participate in the performance of motor skills and movement.In which sport skills include walk,run,jump,and throw.Sports participation including attitudes and behavior of participation.The self-made 《Mentally Retarded schools for the mentally retarded students interview outline》(teachers)to mentally Retarded students sports skills and related contents in the movement to participate in the interview.This research is discussed Mentally Retarded schools for the mentally retarded student’s sports skills,sports participation,and the influence factors of sports skill.In this research,the following conclusions were drawn: Mentally Retarded schools for the mentally retarded students’ sports skill performance,the best way to go,and the skills of jumping and shooting were relatively poor,with the improvement of the athletic skills of the grade;Mentally Retarded schools for the Mentally Retarded students sports participation,rather than the big recess attitude to physical education,political participation attitude,the best sport participation behavior along with the higher grade and more;Mentally Retarded schools for the Mentally Retarded students’ attitudes and behavior of participation of motor skill development.The following education Suggestions are proposed: Attaches great importance to the Mentally Retarded the development of the students the basic sports skills,development characteristics of the teaching results;Sports opportunities and guidance for the Mentally Retarded students,enrich the students’ sports experience;Focus on Mentally Retarded students of attitude and behavior changes in movement;cultivate the students’ sports participation.
