Language teaching material play in decisive role on the formation of teenagers' perfect personality,and the male and female characters in the language teaching material exerts a subtle influence on the teenagers' gender value orientation,the formation of healthy gender consciousness.This thesis with the male image in Chinese textbooks for junior middle school as the research object,on the theory of psychology basis,from the perspective of human and social relations,from two aspects of social role and family role of the male image in carding and analysis to the teaching material,in order to explore the male image in language teaching material characteristic and value orientation,consciously train to help the Chinese teachers in the teaching junior high school students healthy gender values.This thesis consists of four parts altogether:The first part,introduction.Simple introduction and description for the reason of selected topic,the significance of research,literature review,research methods angso on.This part mainly discusses the predecessors about male image and male image aspects in teaching material system of the research results of the carding and reviews.The second part,the essential theoretical foundation of the male image.This chapter introduces the theoretical basis of the male image study mainly involves the theory of Social learning theory,Gender bidirectional theory and the Chinese Curriculum Standards about language teaching material,provide theoretical support for this research.The third part,combing the male image in junior middle school language teaching material.This chapter is the core of the thesis,this chapter with the male image in Chinese textbooks for junior middle school as the research object,in this paper,make a statistical analysis of the male image of the selected text,summarizes its characteristics,and studies its gender roles on this basis.The fourth part,the new age men requirements and Suggestions for using teaching material.This chapter mainly from the era of the requirement of male role,from the male image and puts forward some proposals to the teaching material is the use of interpretation.Finally it is the summary of this research.
