Starting from the autumn of 2019,students in the compulsory education stage nationwide have begun to use the Ministry of Education’s unified textbooks.This set of teaching materials has an unprecedented scope of influence on the previous "multiple books" Chinese teaching materials.The adolescent students are in the strengthening stage of gender consciousness,and the understanding of gender,especially female,to a large extent comes from the education they received during this period.Therefore,the analysis of the distribution of male and female images in junior high school Chinese textbooks compiled by the Department,mining the educational value of female images in textbooks,and exploring the teaching methods of female images based on the difficulties faced by female image teaching are the focus of this study.This paper is divided into five parts.The introduction introduces research questions,introduces the purpose and significance of the research,summarizes the research status of this problem at home and abroad,and briefly introduces the research methods of this article.The first chapter is the theoretical basis.This chapter mainly defines the core concepts and explores the mapping of gender theory in the field of education,laying a theoretical foundation for the dissertation.The second chapter analyzes the three-dimensional analysis of the female images in the junior high school Chinese textbooks,and draws the conclusion that there are few female images in the textbooks,single types,and descriptive stereotypes.The third chapter explores the teaching of female image from the two aspects of the educational value and function of female image,which is of great significance to adolescent boys and girls.The fourth chapter is the research on the current situation of female image teaching and teaching methods.Through interviews with front-line teachers,it is hoped to find the difficulties faced by female image teaching,so as to explore better methods of female image teaching.In general,this study aims to explore the more scientific female image teaching strategies based on the analysis of gender issues and the current status of female image teaching in junior middle school Chinese textbooks,combined with the core literacy of students,and to promote more scientific female image teaching strategies,thereby promoting gender equality teaching.
