Along with nearly a century development,complexity theory has become a hot topic in many fields in the 21 st century.On the basis of actively promoting the education and teaching reform of comprehensive quality education,and improving the classroom teaching quality as well as students' all-round development,this paper aims to analyze the teaching elements in the middle school classroom from the perspective of complexity theory,and restore to the original state of classroom teaching,which will provide theoretical and practical guidance for high-quality and efficiency of classroom teaching.The main ideas and features of the complexity theory can come down to the following ones: the world is complex with many uncertainties which manifests as diversity and non-linear features;the cognition is a growing exploration with multi-dimensional feature,which possess correlation and generative features;the organization is complex bodies with combination of disorder and order;the method is a self-organizing movement of “life-environment” which involves openness and self-organization.The complexity theory has strong speculative feature,which provides a new horizon and thinking mode for human research development.The main teaching elements in middle school classroom include teaching scenes,teaching contents,teaching subjects,and teaching process,which involve a lot of complexities.The analysis on the basis of complexity theory is as follows: the teaching scene in middle school classroom is complex and chaotic,which is organized by diverse teaching elements and their non-linear relationships;the teaching content in middle school classroom is rich and growing with rich and generative features;the teaching subject in middle school classroom is diverse and coordinated with a diversity and plurality;the teaching process in middle school classroom is self-directed and evolutionary with self-organizing and irreversible features.The complexity of the teaching elements in middle school classroom restores the original state of classroom teaching.There is no lack of classroom teaching styles guided by the complexity theory in middle school classrooms.Taking one case as an example for analysis.This case shows the positive teaching significance and effects of complexity theory and their features.In the case,the complex and chaotic classroom teaching scene is full of vitality and vivid atmosphere;and the growing classroom teaching content indicates the generative and mobile features;moreover,the multiple classroom teaching subjects promote and grow together in mutual assistance and collaboration;the self-directed evolving classroom teaching process is relaxing,vivid,smooth and natural,which fully demonstrates that organizing the teaching lessons in middle school classroom on the basis of complexity theory is necessary.From above analysis,the relevant strategies for teaching in middle school classroom on the basis of complexity theory can be concluded.It is essential to form correct notions,and create a free but complex teaching scene through free atmosphere and incompatible situations;it is necessary to optimize teaching content in the classroom and generate teaching content on the basis of diversity,systematization,negotiation,dynamics,openness and life-based principles;it should build a collaborative classroom teaching community to establish harmonious teacher-student relationship and mutual support student-student relationship so as to promote the common growth of teachers and students;it is also necessary to establish“selfdirection-cooperation”,“guidance-exploration”and“competition-motivation”self-organ izing learning method and create a self-evolving classroom teaching process,which will provide classroom teaching with the necessary nutrition,energy and fertile soil,so that the classroom teaching will become an educating land with full of sunshine and rain.
