Oral communication ability is a necessary skill for human survival,so learning oral communication has an important influence on the overall development of students.The new curriculum highlights the important role of oral communication in primary school Chinese teaching.The editorial textbook also reflects the editor's attention to oral communication.In recent years,the status of oral communication has been significantly improved,and more and more educational research has been conducted.The attention of teachers and front-line teachers.However,in rural areas where educational resources are relatively lacking,oral communication has not received due attention,and even appears in the form of phenomenon.Based on this,the paper takes the example of three rural Primary School in Q County,Kaifeng City as an example to investigate the current situation and problems of oral communication teaching in rural primary schools.The paper is a survey of the oral communication teaching of rural primary schools in China.The survey selected three rural primary schools with different teaching levels in Q county of Kaifeng City.It is considered that the literacy ability and cognitive level of students in grade one and two are not enough to complete the questionnaire separately.Therefore,students from Grade 3 to 6 in three primary schools were selected to conduct a questionnaire survey and six teachers conducted interviews.Through the collation and analysis of rural primary school students' questionnaires and interviews with Chinese teachers,it is found that the status of Chinese oral communication teaching in rural primary schools has become marginalized.The choice of content in rural primary school language teachers is excessively dependent on teaching materials,insufficient grasp of teaching objectives,and teaching.Single choice of method leads to over rigidity and teaching evaluation is simple.Students lack of training lead to poor oral communication.The analysis of the causes is the result of questionnaire survey of rural elementary school students and the feedback of rural teachers on oral communication problems.The analysis of the teaching of oral communication in rural primary schools from the three aspects of teachers,students and schools is mainly due to the lack of teaching ability for rural teachers in oral communication.As well as the lack of a correct concept of communication,students' psychological barriers affect the participation in oral communication classes,and schools do not pay enough attention to oral communication.In view of the existing problems mentioned above,this paper believes that rural teachers should improve their theoretical literacy in oral communication,optimize the design of oral communication teaching,help students overcome psychological obstacles in oral communication,and schools should pay attention to oral communication teaching.It is hoped that these strategies will help rural front-line teachers improve their oral communication teaching activities and improve their oral communication skills.
