The progress and development of the society is the biggest encouragement and affirmation for the scientific and technological achievements.Since the reform and opening up,China has made great progress in basic education reform.Science education is an important part of basic education,and physics is the most important part of the entire natural science.The study and mastery of physical knowledge has a catalytic effect on the study of other disciplines.Therefore,physics teaching has received much attention.Physical teaching material is the link between teachers and students,knowledge and development,and classroom and extracurricular.Its writing level reflects the level of physical education to a certain extent.Therefore,physics teaching materials have the irreplaceable role and status of other teaching texts.The United States is a developed country with a high level of science and technology and education.Therefore,it is helpful to improve the level of physical education in our country to draw on the advantages of American educational textbooks.Based on the literature research method and comparative analysis method,this paper reviews several stages of the writing of physical teaching materials in China,and analyzes the differences between Chinese and American physical teaching materials horizontally.To compare the example,exercises,column settings,and teaching language of Chinese high school physics teaching materials with the American physics: books and programs teaching materials "magnetism".The interdisciplinary research method and statistical analysis method are used to comprehensively analyze the differences between the curriculum standards and teaching materials of the two countries,so as to promote and deepen the understanding and understanding of the two sets of teaching materials.At the same time,the following suggestions are put forward for the writing of physics teaching materials in China: the writing of teaching materials should pay attention to the cultivation of students 'scientific inquiry ability and the development of students' thinking ability.At the same time,it is necessary to create a teaching environment with students as the main body,and highlight the practical features of teaching materials.
