The new curriculum concept in "Chemistry Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High Schools(2017 Edition)" is more in line with the needs of education reform under the rapid development of society.Therefore,since 2019,new high school chemistry textbooks of People's Education Edition,Shandong Science and Technology Edition and Jiangsu Phoenix Education Edition have been published subsequently,focusing on improving students' core literacy in chemistry.As an important part of teaching materials,it is still trying to find out how to make efficient use of teaching materials,so it is emphasized to analyze and study the column setting of new teaching materials.On the basis of previous studies,the columns of high school chemistry textbooks published in Jiangsu Phoenix Education Edition in 2020 as the research object had been discussed,and the arrangement and the use of the existing textbooks and columns in Jiangsu Phoenix Education Edition had been analyzed.They had contained three aspects:macro analysis of textbook content,micro analysis of column setting and investigation and analysis of column use status,which provide some teaching reference for front-line teachers based on the research conclusions.According to the macro analysis of the textbook content,the following conclusions are drawn: First,the textbook content is reasonably arranged and extended on the basis of curriculum standards and minimum requirements;Secondly,under the "topic-unit" model,the content of chapters is arranged to narrow the sense of boundaries between topics,and the selection of teaching materials highlights the concept of chemistry discipline;Third,the columns of teaching materials supple and deepen the text content of teaching materials.Rich columns of teaching materials can make the text content more concise,broaden students' levels and exercise students' practical ability.Owing to the micro-analysis of column setting,the following conclusions are concluded: first,19 column settings with different functions have their unique educational and teaching values,and teachers should dig out the potential resources of each column and give full play to the role of columns;second,there are 278 columns in compulsory teaching materials,which will be divided into five types: consolidation and promotion,exchange and discussion,practical activities,information and data,and inductive application.Among them,exchange and thinking columns are the columns with the highest frequency;thirdly,the consolidation and promotion category is a special fixed column,and the rest columns are interspersed in the textbooks.Different teaching materials can be flexibly treated with teaching strategies,so as to optimize the teaching effect of columns.Due to the investigation and analysis of the current situation of column use,the following conclusions are drawn: observation and thinking column,exchange and discussion column,application of what you have learned,experimental inquiry column and broadening your levels column are teaching material columns with high efficient rate;Target preview column,investigation and research column,selection and decision column,interdisciplinary link column and integrated construction column are the columns with low application rate.To sum up,the following suggestions on how to use teaching materials and teaching material columns in teaching are put forward: first,study teaching materials in detail and implement the core literacy of disciplines;second,pay attention to the column function and tap the teaching resources completely;thirdly,is to improve the cognition of columns and apply the idea of setting columns in teaching materials to classroom teaching.
