Study On The "Poetry Teaching" Tradition In China And Cultivation Of Middle School Students' "Poetry Heart"

There is a long tradition of �poetry teaching� in our country.The aesthetic characteristics of classical poetry include emotion,imagination and musicality and so on,which are conducive to cultivate students' noble sentiment and shape their sound personality.However,there are some problems in the present Chinese classical poetry teaching,for example,teachers attach great importance to the meaning of words,learning strategies and poetry teaching,ignoring edification of poetry,taste and understanding of poetry and exploration of poetry.In order to cultivate students' �poetry heart�,on the one hand,teachers should dig deep into the resources of �poetry teaching� in classical poetry.On the other hand,teachers should change their teaching strategies and methods and take characteristics of poetry into consideration to teach poetry.Furthermore,teachers should help students appreciate poetic image,comprehend poets' emotion and taste the language of poetry to help students enjoy the aesthetic pleasure.By learning classical poetry,students can enrich their emotions,nourish the soul and perfect their personalities.In this way,the ultimate goal of educating students can be achieved.
