With the progress of science & technology and social development,it is very necessary to train high-quality innovative talents for building an innovative country.Biology is a discipline that explore the laws of life phenomena and activities,and is a basic subject of medicine,agriculture,and horticulture.Facing on the continuous development of medicine and agriculture,a lot of new problems are generated.How to deal with these problems and cultivate high-quality innovative talents will become particularly important? The national biology league(NBL)is an important pathway to cultivate social innovative,professional talents and reserve talents for life sciences at the 21 st century.Through the study of NBL theoretical test,a complete and systematic knowledge system will be formed for common teachers to integrate and classify a various of teaching methods,such as the inquiry teaching method and the autonomous learning method,in order that students could from the “observation-independent-innovation” learning method that is suitable for their own.It will guide students to comprehensively master knowledge points of biological parts,and helps them improve their ability of observation ability,creative thinking ability,experiment and self-study ability.The outline of NBL is consisted with the following parts: plant anatomy,physiology and ecology(emphasis on seed plants)(accounted 15%+15% for total scores,respectively),animal anatomy and physiology(15%),behavioral study(5%),cytology(including biochemistry and molecular biology,25%),heredity and evolution(15%),and system biology(10%).The part of plant biology accounts for about 30% of NBL test questions,which is the main examination content.Therefore,it is particularly important to study and analyze the part of the NBL plant biology test question.The paper is divided into six chapters.Chapter one: introduction.This part mainly introduces the background of choosing the topic,the current situation and development trend of biological Olympiad at home and abroad,as well as the purpose,method and theoretical basis of the research.The second chapter: the analysis of plant biology in the NBL test.In the NBL test of 2003-2017,this thesis analyzes some knowledge points of plant biology and the examination of the students' ability level.The third chapter: the inspection rules of plant biology in NBL test from 2003 to 2017.Through specific analysis of the knowledge of root and stem in the test questions,the examination rules of plant biology are summarized.The fourth chapter: the teaching method of NBL tests.In the form of case classification,combining with specific cases,teaching methods suitable for teachers to teach biological leagues are summarized.The fifth chapter: the formation of students' ability in the national biological league tests.Through the analysis of the specific questions,the thesis summarizes the various learning abilities that the students should have in the tests of the national biological league,and puts forward specific measures to promote the formation of students' learning ability.The sixth chapter: some conclusions and prospects for future research.
