The balanced development of basic education in different regions is an arduous and lengthy process,and the country has initially achieved good results in this regard.In this context,considering the demands of the new age for students’ learning attitudes,learning abilities,and exploration spirits,this study examines the learning literacy of students in basic education in different regions.The questionnaire survey method is mainly used to select the fourth-grade primary school students in the eastern,central and western regions to investigate the overall situation and performance of the students’ learning literacy in the basic education stage in China.The research results indicate:(a)Overall level: The overall level of learning attainment of students in eastern,central and western China.With regard to the overall level of learning interest,class input,and learning self-efficacy,students have the highest level of interest in learning,followed by the level of class input,and the lowest level of learning self-efficacy.(b)Differences in performance: 1.In terms of regional differences,students in the eastern,central and western regions of China differed in three indicators: interest in learning input in class,and self-efficacy in learning.There were differences in three subjects: reading,mathematics,and science study.2.Gender differences: The level of female students’ classes is significantly higher than that of male students.The interest of female students in the eastern region is significantly higher than that of male students.The level of female students’ classes is significantly higher than that of male students.(c)Relationships: There are significant correlations among the three indicators of learning literacy;there are correlations among the three disciplines of reading,mathematics,and science;there are significant correlations between family culture conditions and the three indicators of learning literacy.Based on the results of the study,this article analyzes and compares the levels and differences in the key indicators of regional GDP,household consumption,investment in education,education level,and student-teacher ratio.Then discuss the relationship or influence between economic development and education development,teacher resources and learning literacy,curriculum teaching and learning quality,family culture conditions and learning literacy.Finally,from the four aspects,we put forward the idea of improving the learning quality of basic education students.The contents include: 1.Strengthening regional economy and increasing education support;2.Optimizing teacher resource allocation and improving teacher information literacy;3.Making necessary courses Comprehensive and instructional design;4.Actively create a good family culture atmosphere. |
