Learning mathematics will play an important role for students' learning and developing in the future.In the process of learning mathematics,there are various aspects like learning basis,learning motivation,learning method,learning method and learning attitude that cause learning difference.So,it is necessary to research the learning difference in mathematics of primary students.Documentary research,questionnaire research,interview research,classroom observation research,product analysis method and case study method were applied to this study.There are two main problems in the study: firstly,investing the status of learning difference in mathematics for YJ center school grade four students and discussing the causes of learning difference;secondly,selecting randomly six students to do the case study about learning difference in the basis of investigation.Hope that this study can give some beneficial enlightenment to primary school mathematical teachers when facing students' learning difference.This study has two conclusions.The first conclusion is that mathematical learning difference mainly reflects in four aspects,volitional quality,learning interest,learning attitude and learning method.The second conclusion is the strategy to narrow learning difference,concluding three aspects: firstly,teachers should pay attention to cultivate students' good habits of learning mathematics,such as the cultivating students' attention,making learning plan in time,learning how to listen and read and doing after-school reflection,etc;secondly,stimulating effectively students' learning interest,such as fully excavating students' life experience which is associating with learning content,setting different stages of learning objectives for different students and letting students experience learning achievement;thirdly,teaching students how to learn mathematics,such as cultivating students' self-efficacy and developing the habit of preview before class,listening carefully,participate actively and effectively in class,finishing homework in time and combing learning content after class.In addition,teachers should know the condition of students' learning difference and set layered teaching objectives before teaching.During the processing of teaching,teachers should organize classroom in accordance with students' learning difference.After class,teachers should strengthen guidance to students,helping them to completing mathematical cognitive structure gradually.Problems which can be continued to research in the study are: the present situation and reason analysis to mathematical learning difference for different types school;to expand the scope of case study and find out more universal countermeasures and methods to improve students' learning difference in mathematics.
