Study On The Willingness Of Female Teachers For Giving Another Birth Under The Comprehensive Two-child Policy

The fifth Plenary Session of the 18 th CPC Central Committee communique of the party put forward : We should promote the balanced development of the population,adhere to the basic national policy of family planning,improve the strategy of population development,and fully implement the policy of two children to have a couple,that is,the policy of "Universal two-child ".The implementation of a comprehensive two child policy has enabled the desire for reproductive education of female teachers in the system to be released.Female teachers are the target group of the new population policy of "all two children",the regular work rhythm of the female teachers,the stability of the workplace,the guarantee of the summer vacation,and the higher level of knowledge,and the more mature conditions for the female teachers to have two children compared to the working people who are running for a living.However,female teachers are within the system of employment,and it is clear that before the implementation of the "total two child" policy,the women's childbearing willingness in the system is more severely restricted by the policy of fertility.Due to the restrictive role of fertility policy,the reproductive behavior of female teachers is greatly restricted,and the desire to give birth gradually weakens.After the opening of the two-child policy,a stable economic income,a sound welfare system,a fixed labor time,a maternity leave and a lactation time have become the institutional advantages of the female teacher's reproduction.This article takes the female teachers with one child in Jiangxi Province as the research object and goes deep into the female teacher group.Through the questionnaire survey,this paper investigates the regenerative will and related factors of the female teachers in Jiangxi Province,and carries out the related and regression analysis.It is found that female teachers in Jiangxi province have strong desire for rebirth,and few female teachers are unwilling to reproduce.The three variables of personal characteristics,family characteristics,and psychological cognition of rebirth are closely related to female teachers' desire for rebirth.The female teachers' age,occupation type,individual monthly income level,spouse monthly income level,mother's education level,the existing one child sex,the existing one child's learning stage and so on have significant influence on the female teachers' regenerative intention.At the same time,it puts forward policy recommendations for the factors that are not conducive to the reproduction of female teachers,so as to ensure the successful realization of female teachers' reproductive desire:Strengthening the construction of substitute teachers and increasing the proportion of male teachers in teachers;improving relevant supporting policies and measures to alleviate the worries of two children's childbearing;Improving the level of medical care and ensure the safety of mothers and infants;guaranteeing women's equal employment and promotion rights,and eliminating female employment discrimination.
