Study On Group Social Work Of Medical Social Workers Intervening With Caregivers Of Children With Leukemia

Medical social workers identify the caregivers of leukemia children as special recessive vulnerable groups.The society often overlooks the enormous economic and psychological pressure faced by their children caregivers,as well as the situation of disability and weakness.At present,the work of social work serving the caregivers of leukemia children is still in the initial stage,and nowadays medical social workers have become members of the complete medical team.Social workers can play a role in promoting the mental health of patients and their caregivers and helping them to improve their social functions.In this paper,we use the theory of ermpowerment and the working methods of qualitative social work group to help the caregivers of children with leukemia to cope with the weakness of social function caused by diseases.This study selected C X hospital pediatric department of Hematology of the caregivers of children with leukemia as the research object,through to provide the relevant knowledge,social security assistance channels to ask for help and enhance the parents to take care of the self learning ability,the ability to deal with the problem;to seek identity through mutual sharing between team members,and enhance mutual aid group consciousness in addition to exercise;parents to take care of the self seeking social ability,to help them build a public space into a self-help group,realize social self-help concept,at the same time on the social support system they have stripped.In this paper,the process of the group's development is recorded in detail,and the effect of the group is summarized and analyzed.This paper argues that after carrying out the group,the social function of the caregivers of leukemia children is significantly improved.Therefore,social workers' intervention in the social function increasing strategy of leiukemic children caregivers is feasible,and at the same time,suggestions for further development and improvement of social work in hospitals are put forward.
