Leukemia is one of the most common malignant tumors in children in China. In recent years, the number of children suffering from congenital leukemia has been increasing, which accounts for a very large proportion in the total number of leukemia patients in China. The treatment cost of congenital leukemia is high and the disease is very dangerous.Once diagnosed, children need to be hospitalized for a long time, which not only delays the life and study of children, but more importantly, children need the care of their families. In the process of taking care of children, family members of children need to give up their families and careers. They are burdened with a huge family burden, and their quality of life declines, and their psychology also suffers a huge blow. The main psychological problems faced by the families of children with congenital leukemia include anxiety and depression, the decline of interpersonal skills, the physiologicalization of psychological problems and psychological burnout. These problems seriously impair the physical and mental health of the family members of the children, and even affect the daily care for the children with leukemia due to these psychological problems, aggravating the condition of the children. With the development of the "bio-psycho-social" medical treatment model, health care has expanded its vision from clinical treatment in medical institutions to non-clinical treatment activities, from simple medical activities to medical social culture, reflecting the trend of medicalization of lifestyle. At present, medical treatment pays more attention to humanized services, and the care for patients in medical situation has expanded from the original focus only on the recovery of patients’ physiological functions to the physiological, psychological and social levels of patients, and expanded from the original focus only on the feelings of patients to increasingly focus on the inpatient experience of patients and their families. As the social support system for children, their problem solving and ability improvement directly affect the development of children. Therefore, how social workers use their professional knowledge and skills to alleviate their anxiety and solve their psychological problems is both a challenge and a new service field. In this paper, through the investigation, interview and observation of the children with congenital leukemia and their families in the pediatric hematology department of X Hospital in Inner Mongolia, help them solve their problems. On this basis,a one-month group work was carried out on the psychological problems of the families,so as to influence the formation of a healthy psychological environment for them. The paper mainly includes four parts. The first part is the introduction, which mainly introduces the research background, research significance, research methods and existing literature. The second part is the content of the first chapter. In the first chapter,it mainly introduces the description of the research place and the current situation of the research object, including the dilemma faced by the families of sick children, the psychological problems and characteristics of the patients’ families,as well as the causes of the psychological problems of the service object. The third part is the content of the second chapter, which is the part to carry out the specific group work. This part mainly introduces the content related to group activities, including the preparation of group activities, the development of group activities and the evaluation of group activities. The fourth part is the content of the third chapter. This part mainly discusses the experience and deficiencies gained by social workers after group activity intervention and the problems paid attention to in the later stage of activities. The innovation of this article lies in the fourth part of the evaluation of the entire process of social work intervention in the psychological problems of the family members of children with congenital leukemia, combining the opinions of the target families, social workers and medical workers, and reflecting on the effectiveness and effectiveness of the intervention process.Insufficiency, and concluded that paying attention to the mental health of family members is the intended meaning of society and the family. We should pay more attention to the family members of children with congenital leukemia so that they can maintain their mental health and take better care of the children. Finally, the author puts forward three suggestions and countermeasures to provide empirical basis for future medical social work for the families of children with congenital leukemia, hoping to promote the positive development of medical social work in my country. |
