The Danish immigrant education began in the middle of the 20 th century and has achieved fruitful results after more than half a century of development.In particular,since the beginning of the 21 st century,many European leaders have acknowledged that multiculturalism has failed,but Denmark still adheres to the policy of integration.While the share of Danish immigrants in the total population has remained around 10 percent since the 21 st century,the attention of the education problem of this group has highlighted the fairness of education.As a country in the Northern Europe that attracts many immigrants,its immigration policy is highly valued,and its immigration education has won international recognition.Many authorities have found that the successful implementation of Danish immigrants' education lies in the implementation of its intercultural education concept.First,this paper discusses the background of Danish immigrant education policy making.Danish education for immigrant children did not last long,but underwent a change from loose to tight.Immigrants to Denmark are facing a social and economic disadvantage,which has led to a lower performance of Danish immigrant children than native students;secondly,this study tries to investigate the contents of Danish education policies for immigrant children.This paper uses the content analysis of education policy as the research method,according to the age of the immigrant children,analyzes three immigrant education policy systems,including pre-school education,compulsory education and professional education from the horizontal structure of macro level,and investigates the goals,objects,and means of typical education policies from micro level.finally,this study compares immigrant children with native Denmark student by using the enrollment and academic performance data,analyzes the implementation effect and the evaluation of the policy.Accroding to the comparation with relevant policies of our country,this paper summarizes the characteristics of Danish education policy for immigrant children that includes fully completed,reflecting the education fairness,meeting the needs of immigrant children's choice,focusing on teachers' selection and appointment,completed evaluation system of language and parent-schoolcollaboration.
