Our country promulgated in 2003 "the ordinary high school geography curriculum standard(experiment)" to the sustainable development of the students as a starting point,advocate independent learning,cooperative learning and inquiry learning in learning style of students as the main body status;Especially in the context of cultivating students' core geographical literacy,how to effectively introduce "inquiry" into geography teaching has become the focus of attention.Based on the author's teaching practice,it is found that middle school students' participation in teaching is limited in traditional teaching methods,and the teaching implementation of the column of "problem research" is not good.The purpose of this paper is to combine "problem research" column,by analyzing the implementation of inquiry teaching in geography teaching,study how to develop the geography inquiry teaching,for high school geography teachers provide some useful reference for the teaching.First by applying the method of literature,the paper reviews the research of inquiry teaching,found in the geography teaching with "problem situation","set geographic doubt","teachers and students together to explore the basic process.By comparing inquiry teaching with inquiry learning,it is found that inquiry teaching pays more attention to the process and method of knowledge inquiry than to the acquisition of scientific conclusions.It is found that the column of "problem study" is the characteristic and one of the highlights of high school geography teaching materials of human education edition by referring to literature materials and teaching practice.According to the course nature of different modules of compulsory geography textbooks in senior high school,it can be divided into "theoretical inquiry type","relational inquiry type" and "comprehensive inquiry type".Secondly,the functions and characteristics of the column of "problem study" and the conditions and advantages of conducting inquiry teaching in the column are analyzed.On the basis of the case method,according to the different types of research topics of inquiry teaching in the column is analyzed application of inductive conclusion authors.furthermore of inquiry teaching in geography teaching is mainly reflected in: based on the teaching material of geography curriculum properties of different modules,to explore the process design should have difference;Geography has comprehensive characteristics,and the process of inquiry should not be limited to the classroom.The participation degree of middle school students in the process of geographical inquiry is an important factor influencingthe teaching of inquiry.Geography inquiry teaching is more helpful to achieve the"three goals" of geography courses.The "international charter 2016 geography education" pointed out that geography is huge contribution to the education,effective teaching to attract and encourage more learners,and geographical inquiry-based teaching can give full play to the initiative of the students,encourage students to actively participate in geography study.Due to the limitation of time and ability,this paper analyzes the shortcomings and prospects of the research.
