In the period of the Republic of China,the development of preschool education in China had a serious tendency of "foreign".Faced with this situation,Chinese scholars have carried out localization reform with Chinese characteristics on the basis of introducing foreign advanced preschool education theory to promote the development of preschool education.Among them,Mr.Chen Heqin's theory of "living education" is a typical'representative.In order to clarify the "living education" theory is how to form and how to carry out the localization transformation,this study is combined with the current existing problems of introducing foreign preschool education,taking the Chinese social environment of the Republic of China as the background,and taking the theory of method and process of exploration of preschool education thought transformation as a case.This study mainly adopts the literature method,and first expounds the historical background of the localization of the pre-school education thought in the period of the Republic of China.Since the introduction of the theory of foreign preschool education in modern China,the tendency of "Foreignization" has emerged in modern China,which has brought many disadvantages.Under the impetus of the transformation of education modernization and the ideological trend and practice of local education in China,China began to explore the localization of foreign preschool education thought.Secondly,it studies the formation of Chen Heqin's theory of "living education".Chen Heqin's learning of western theories in the process of studying abroad laid a theoretical foundation for his future educational activities.After returning home,his investigation and Reflection on the educational situation in China further deepened his belief in the localization of preschool education.The practice and exploration of Nanjing Drum Tower kindergarten and young teacher in Jiangxi is the final place for the formation of its theory.Then the localization of Chen Heqin's "living education" theory is analyzed.It is found in the study that Chen Heqin's "living education"theory is based on the theory of foreign preschool education,-combined with China's reality and repeated experiments.The purpose of "living education" theory is on the absorption and transformation of Dewey's theory of the essence of education;the curriculum resources of "nature and society " are the reference and is learning and transformation of school is society of Dewey's view.The teaching methodology of "learning in operation and teaching in operation" is the introduction and.transformation of Dewey's principles of "teaching in operation";The whole teaching method is learning and transformation of the De Mike Loli's teaching method,witch make the" living education "theory with both national and world.Finally,combined with the current problems in the introduction of foreign preschool education thought,we summed up the inspiration of the formation of "living education" theory,hoping to provide a useful reference for the reform and development of preschool education in China.
