HPS(History,Philosophy and Sociology of Science)is a new scientific education course or teaching model that has been gradually formed since the 19 th century.Under the guidance of constructivism theory,it is required to reasonably introduce the relevant education contents of History of Science,philosophy of Science and Sociology of Science into Science courses in chemistry,geography and biology,etc.It focuses on deepening students' understanding of the nature of science.Meanwhile,it cultivates students' scientific spirit and humanistic temperament.Through the analysis of the high school chemistry curriculum standard(The 2017 edition),we can find that many of the education values highlighted by HPS are reflected in the training objectives of the core qualities of the five major chemical disciplines advocated by the new curriculum standards.In addition,the 2017 edition of the new standard in terms of strengthening curriculum implementation guidance highlights the HPS education content.Therefore,the introduction of HPS into chemistry teaching is a new trend that complies with the curriculum and teaching reform in China and has an irreplaceable role in improving students' core quality.Based on the relevant literature of HPS education at home and abroad,summarizes the three major characteristics of the HPS education.Based on constructivism learning theory,situational teaching view,scientific essentialism and 17 new curriculum standards,discusses the preliminary preparation of high school chemistry instructional design and the strategy of chemistry instructional design on “HPS” concepts,including targeted teaching objectives and the practicality of teaching materials and so on.In-depth research on that content of HPS education in the high school chemistry course,and design concrete,feasible instructional design case for different types of teaching contents,try the three teaching modes of HPS education and implement the HPS teaching strategy in the teaching cases.Under the guidance of new curriculum standards,some specific suggestions are put forward for middle school teachers to better integrate HPS education into the chemistry curriculum.In the future teaching,we hope to develop the HPS education concept better.Through the above research,it is concluded that: High school chemistry curriculum contains a large amount of HPS education content.Teachers need to fully develop and utilize teaching materials of New Curriculum Standard(The 2017 edition),and constantly accumulate a variety of chemical related resources beyond the scope of the textbook.After screening and identification,integrate HPS education concept into them.Realize the transformation of the teaching concept of "quality is the most important" and try our best to make the teaching and learning take on a whole new look.
