The overburdened academic burden on primary and middle school students has always been the focus of the whole society.Compared with education and people,it is an objective reality.A reasonable burden promotes the development of quality education, and excessive burden will affect students' physical and mental health.Because of the differences in the living environment such as individual family and school atmosphere, the academic burden is not only different in the objective burden, but also varies among different schools, grades, and genders.Through collation and analysis of the literature, the predecessors' study was followed, and following the questionnaire formulation principles and requirements,a "Current Situation Survey Questionnaire for Junior High School Students" was compiled.Taking junior high school students as the research object,1114 students of four different types of full-time junior high school in H city were selected as subjects.Using variance analysis and T-test,combined with the different performance characteristics of junior high school students' academic burden,to explore the causes of individual differences, and give corresponding educational strategies,it provides a realistic basis for the formulation of burden reduction policies, the improvement of education evaluation systems, and the transformation of traditional education concepts. The “Current Situation Survey Questionnaire for Junior High School Students” divides the academic burden into three parts: external stress, physical load, and mental fatigue. The external stress burden includes family factors, school factors, and peer competition;the physical load includes physical discomfort caused by examinations and work volume;psychological fatigue includes emotional exhaustion, dehumanization and personal achievement.Statistical analysis shows that the questionnaire has good reliability and validity.Through data investigation and analysis, the research results are as follows:1.As a whole, the academic burden of different school types is at a moderately low level.Except that the external pressure of girls is slightly greater than that of boys, they appear in all other dimensions present a trend of town schools> municipal key secondary schools> county school> city ordinary high school, grade 9> grade 8> grade 7,boys> girls.2.The junior high school students in different types of schools have significant differences in the three dimensions of external pressure and the dehumanization of psychological burnout. The average secondary school middle school students suffered the least pressure, while the rest presented the trend of county-level secondary schools,city-level key middle schools, and town schools. In the dimension of emotional exhaustion, junior high school students at county level are more likely to experience emotional exhaustion than middle school junior high school students.3.In the external pressure of academic burden, physical load and mental fatigue, the family, school, and peers in the grade 9 experience the most pressure and feel more tired. When students encounter puzzles in their studies, they are more likely to experience psychological frustration, presenting grade 9> grade 8>grade 7.4.There is no significant difference in external pressure and physical load between boys and girls. There are obvious gender differences in depersonalization. The more heavy the amount of learning tasks, the poorer the boys' learning adaptability, and more likely to be affected by peer groups than girls.5.There is a significant interaction between grade level and school type in overall academic burden, external pressure and its constituent factors, physical load, and psychological burnout dimensions---emotional exhaustion and depersonalization of junior middle school students. There is no significant interaction effect on the individual's sense of accomplishment in the psychological burnout dimension.Because of the complexity of the academic burden itself,it is necessary to ease the academic pressure from various aspects.First, the government can establish a school burden monitoring system from the central government to the local government, scientifically measure the academic burden, and provide real-time and reliable information for the burden reduction policy;Second, social media vigorously promotes the concept of scientific quality education, coordinates the promotion of social resources, and exerts appropriate educational functions;Third, school increases the establishment of psychological courses, while paying attention to the sound development of teachers' emotions.strengthens professional training for teachers to ensure positive working emotions, and pays attention to students' mental health education;Fourthly, parents listen carefully and improve communication, and establish a harmonious family atmosphere.Judgment on the student's academic burden will vary due to different factors. Therefore, paying attention to differences in research is the focus of academic burden.
