Music picture book is an art form combining music,art and literature.It not only helps children to experience the emotion of picture book,but also can arouse children's graphic association and stimulate their creative ability.Therefore,it is of great use value.However,after investigation,it is found that the current music picture book is missing in kindergarten practice.Therefore,the researchers attempted to explore the design and use of music picture books in the context of kindergartens,and established three research questions: how to design music picture books according to different types of picture books,whether music picture books are suitable for kindergartens,and how to support and guide children to use music picture books.This study selects a mixed-age class of H kindergarten and adopts the action research paradigm to carry out the "planimplementation-investigation-reflection" spiral action research.Music picture books applied in the study are designed based on the different types,the feasibility of music picture books is verified through group story telling activities,following the adjust of music picture books design,and the exploration of application methods.The implementation of the action research includes one pre-study and three formal action studies,each of which consists of three stages.The preliminary study makes a tentative exploration into the design and feasibility of music picture books.Three formal action studies were carried out around story,prose and poetry picture books,respectively,to explore the design process,the principles,the feasibility,the value,and the application methods of music picture books.The researcher draws the following conclusions and strategies: in terms of the music picture books design,the researcher summarizes the general designing process,including the picture books selection,text analysis,story adaptation,music design,and interactive design.Certain basic principles should be followed in each step of the designing process.In terms of the feasibility and the value,music picture books can be used for group teaching and center activities,and achieves the penetration of language,music and art domain,deepens children's understanding of picture books,enrich children's musical experience,and stimulates children's various forms of artistic expression.In terms of the application of music picture books,centering on the forms of music picture books,teachers' attention and guidance,the researcher summarizes the strategies for the use of music picture books in group narrative activities and center activities,and put forward suggestions for the expanded use of music picture books in other activities,including music activities,art activities and picture book reading activities.The whole action research has a positive impact on the growth of children,teachers and researcher.Meanwhile,the researcher reflects on the process of the study.As for the research question,the researcher believes that the construction of aesthetic experience lays on children's overall experience,both the process and the outcomes of child independent exploration are very important,and the interactivity is the premise of children's in-depth reading.As for the research process,the researcher believes that it is important to form a "research community" with the cooperative teachers,the roles of "researcher" and "teacher" should be well exchanged.Finally,on the basis of this action research,the researcher also put forward some considerations for the follow-up researches.
