Research On Shanxi Xugou Back Iron Bar From The Perspective Of Folk Sports

Xugou back iron bar is a multi-faceted folk sports program that integrates sports,dance,acrobatics,drama,and painting.It was one of the earliest prototypes of the square's sports culture.It was listed in the national intangible cultural heritage list in2008.However,this activity has not been recognized by the public due to many factors and its survival and development are facing difficulties.Therefore,this article takes Xugou back iron bar as the research object,taking folk sports as the perspective,based on folklore,physical education,history,sociology and other theoretical basis,and has an overall survey by using bibliography,field survey method,logical analysis This study aims to explore effective ways to protect and develop back iron bar through in-depth excavation of the function,value,and cultural connotation of back iron activities,investigate and analysis the problems existing in the inheritance and development of back iron bar.This will provide reference for the development of similar folk activities and provide theoretical basis for further research on folk sports activities and protection of intangible cultural heritage and related research.The study draws the following conclusions:1.The back iron bar is a folk sports activity in Xugou Town,Qingxu County,Shanxi Province.The unique natural and humane conditions,its own fuctions and cultural values have enabled it to be strongly protected by the government and the people.2.The different cultural connotations of back iron bar have been created in different historical periods.The dawning culture is to worship God and pray for happiness and well-being;the core of the initial development period is to exercise and entertain;during the tortuous development period,it reflects the real life;the core of the all-round development period is to entertain,strengthen the body and promote the development of our outstanding traditional culture.No matter what period of development,the inheritance of Xugou back iron bar has a commonality.It reflects the simple folk customs of the loess plateau and the spirit of entertainment.But at present,the research and exploration of Xugou back iron bar in China is not deep enough,and the relevant scientific research results are limited.Therefore,more scholars and social people are needed to carry out innovate research.3.According to the field survey of Xugou back iron bar,this study believes that its main dilemmas are:(1)modern multicultural shock;(2)inadequate governmentprotection and low level of public participation;(3)the higher spending and insufficient funds;(4)the ageing of inheritors and lack of professionals;(5)The color and dress of the back iron bar are not rigorous,nor standardized,and unreasonable;(6)The activity content form is single and the lack of cultural connotation.4.Suggestions on the development of Xugou back iron bar folk sports activities:(1)enlarging the supporting force of government policy;(2)strengthening theoretical research and enrich performance forms;(3)Improving self-confidence and recognition of folk culture;(4)Emphasizing the protection of inheritors and strengthening the construction of professional talents;(5)Inheriting and developing back iron bars with modern media;(6)innovating back iron bars Accurately to improve their "hematopoietic function."...
