Economic globalization has strengthened the cooperation and communication of people in various fields. Therefore,it is becoming more and more important to cultivate citizens' ability to cooperate and communication, and the curriculum standards of many countries have also taken the training of this ability as one of the educational goals.Textbook as a carrier of knowledge is an important material for students to learn knowledge, improve their ability and train their thinking, and is related to the completion of educational goals. This thesis makes a detailed comparison of the mainstream Junior Physics Textbooks in five countries, including China, the United Kingdom, the United States,Singapore and Australia, and tries to understand the presentation, distribution and design of the contents of cooperation and communication in the five national physics textbooks.Based on the methods of literature analysis, content analysis and comparison, this thesis makes a general comparison of the textbooks from four aspects:the column setting, the content characteristics, the distribution characteristics and the organization form of the content of cooperation and communication. Then, taking the two themes of "force and movement" and "electricity and magnetism" as an example, this thesis compares the contents of the text, language expression, illustration and mathematical language, and shows the differences between the textbooks with tables and images. Finally, the summary and suggestions are put forward.Through comparative study,we put forward the following conclusions:(1)In terms of column setting, the number of columns in Australian textbooks is the largest, while Britain is the least, and China is at an average level. The textbook of each country has roughly 2-5 different column types. The American,Chinese and British textbooks are more flexible, and the textbooks in Australia and Singapore are relatively fixed.(2)In terms of distribution characteristics, the distribution of textbooks in China, the United States,Australia and Singapore is relatively balanced. There are 1-4 columns in each chapter. The distribution of English textbooks is not obvious, and the distribution is relatively scattered.(3)In terms of content characteristic, the content of cooperation and communication is distributed in different numbers. The amount of cooperation and communication in Australian textbooks is the most, and the United States,China,Singapore and the UK are decreasing in turn. The contents of American,British and Australian textbooks are novel and modernized, and it is not only the knowledge itself, but also the application of knowledge, the analysis of problems, the use of the knowledge to evaluate the results of others, and the improvement of the comprehensive quality in the process of cooperation and communication. The contents of textbooks in China and Singapore are rather old.(4)In the organizational form of cooperation and communication, cooperative learning is carried out in groups, and the content of the cooperation and communication of textbooks in each country is distributed before class,in class and after class.Only U.S.textbooks set what the students did before class. The content that needs to be explored in class is reflected in the textbooks of different countries. The content is mainly centered around knowledge points. The contents of the study after class have also been arranged in various countries.Textbooks in China and Singapore are relatively simple and knowledge-based.In the United States,Australia and Britain, textbooks are mainly based on practice, and through the organization of students' research activities, cooperation and communication among students are promoted. In the specific comparison of the content of cooperation and communication under the theme of "force and movement" and "electricity and magnetism",it is found that in the form of content, all of them are presented in the columns in the form of exercises, experiments and examples. In terms of language expression, textbooks in various countries use simple sentences and various sentence patterns. The language of the textbooks in the United States,Britain,Australia and Singapore is relatively simple. In order to highlight the emphasis, the subject is omitted directly and the structure of"verb + object" is adopted. The language expression in Chinese textbooks is slightly tedious and more literal. In terms of illustrations, the types of illustrations used by countries are basically the same, with only differences in the number of illustrations. In terms of mathematical language, tables and function images are used,in which more tables are used.
