The Application Of Thematic Teachingmodel In Geography Teaching In High School

Regional geography is the core content of geography.Regional geography plays an important role in cultivating students' core literacy of geography in high school.However,the traditional teaching mode still occupies an important position in regional geography teaching practice in high school,It is very common for students to accept learning passively.And it is difficult to cultivate students' discipline quality under the circumstances.Hence,we must change the traditional teaching model to increase students interest for Regional geography,to raise the participation in class for Regional geography,to promote the ability for cooperating to explore and analyzing the problem solve,So as to develop students' core literacy of geography.Through a large amount of literature,this study has a thorough understanding of the current research situation of Thematic Teaching Mode in domestic and foreign teaching,and per the characteristics of regional geography teaching content in high school,the theme teaching mode is introduced into the high school geography teaching.Through the identification of the relevant concepts of the Thematic Teaching Mode,the study clears the theoretical basis,applied principles and the implementation process of Thematic Teaching Mode in the teaching,and designed teaching of the implementation process on the basis of the topic teaching mode in the regional high school geography.I took the course of "geography 3" as a case to carry out the classroom teaching practice of thematic teaching,and students were investigated by questionnaire and classroom observation in the topic teaching mode before and after,then the case analysis of the learning situation of the investigation.In conclusion the Thematic Teaching Mode should be promoted in geography teaching of high school.Finally,the problems found in practical teaching of targeted recommendations.Through the study found that regional high school geography content is suitable for Thematic Teaching Mode,The author design the thematic teaching mode of teaching process and teaching design has a certain reference value.Therefore,Thematic Teaching Mode should be vigorously promoted in regional geography teaching in high school,and make contributions to cultivate the students' core literacy.
