The Present Situation And Reflection Of Project Medical Social Work

In the early stages of the healthcare reform,cause the lack of corresponding value standard,the medical field is too marketization,and the contradiction between people's medical service demand and the medical resources that meet the demand is becoming more and more prominent.It leads to the social problems such as difficulty in medical treatment,expensive medical treatment and medical disputes become more acuity.In this context,to alleviate the increasingly prominent doctor-patient relationship and reconstruct the trust between doctors and patients has become the top priority for further deepening medical reform.Medical social workers can use professional social work methods and skills to promote the communication and coordinate the interaction between the parties in the medical system.It has gained some achievements and experience in reconstructing the trust relationship and alleviating the contradiction between doctors and patients,which has been widely recognized by the government and society.Beijing,Shanghai,shenzhen and other big cities have been the forefront of the development of medical social work in China.As the importance of medical social work develops gradually,the government supports the development of medical social work.More and more hospital of small and medium-sized cities carry out the medical affair social work services by purchasing a third-party social work agency's professional services.In July 2015,the Health Planning Commission and Civil affairs bureau of P city and D hospital bought the professional services of X social work development center.So the first pilot project of medical social work in P city was implemented in D hospital.This study takes the three medical social work items of X social work development center,focusing on the medical social work project of Z hospital as the main research object.By means of qualitative research method,the development status of medical social work in the project is understood through participatory observation method and semi-structured interview method.This paper analyzes the problems such as Social worker's identity embarrassment,more transactional work in non-project service contracts,Lack of professional competence,in the development of medical social work in the project,from the four perspectives of hospital,social work service institutions,service objects and project medical social workers themselves.In order to promote the project to make medical social work more professional and concrete development,this study make suggestiongs on strengthening the cooperation with the hospital,optimizing the management system of medical social workers and promoting the professional development of project service.It is hoped that this suggestions have value for the operation of medical social work in other projects,at the same time,plays a reference role in the operation of social work project in other social work areas.
