Key competencies are an important issue of education,and the cultivation of key competencies finally will be implemented in each subject.Logical reasoning is one of the key competencies of mathematics.People communicate in mathematics activities is the basic thinking quality,is also an essential ability in a rapidly developing society.The logical reasoning of students in high school has developed to a relatively complete level,investigating student logic reasoning competencies will helps to comprehend student's situation,using differences in different dimensions and the correlation of some factors to analyze student logic reasoning competencies,in order to improve the principles of instruction and methods of high school teachers and promote the improvement of students' logical reasoning competencies.This article analyzes research on related literatures of logical reasoning including domestic and foreign,and according to the definition of the logical reasoning in?Senior High School Mathematics Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition)?and level distinction,compiled a logical reasoning competencies questionnaire to investigate the status of logical reasoning competencies for students in high school.The questionnaire used some second-grade high school students from a key high school in Hubei province as the research object,and used SPSS statistical software to analyze the data and reached the following conclusions:(1)The logical reasoning competencies level of high school students in the second grade is generally low,32.1%of students are at a logical reasoning competencies level of zero,42.5%of students are at a logical reasoning competencies level of one,22.5%of students are at a logical reasoning competencies level of two,2.9%of students are at a logical reasoning com-petencies level of three.(2)The logical reasoning competencies level of high school students in the second-grade does not have significant differences in the dimensions of gender,age,literature and science.Simultaneously,the logical reasoning competencies level of high school students in second-grade is positively correlated with students'mathematics achievement,but,it is not related to students' degree of like mathematics and students' recognition of the importance of logical reasoning competencies.(3)When students in second-grade high school students answer the questionnaire of mathematics logical reasoning competencies,the main difficulties they face are the confusion of the thinking,the unclear expression of the mathematical language,and the lack of understanding of the logical relationship between the definition and the theorem.According to the above research result,the current situation of the logical reasoning competencies of high school students and the difficulties encountered,and make the following suggestions for teachers' teaching in classroom:(1)Emphasizing the cultivation of logical reasoning competencies in the high school mathematics curriculum.(2)Change the teaching model that focuses on teaching.(3)Create many kinds of problem situations.(4)Focus on the cultivation of students' mathematics language.The innovation of this article is:(1)According to the level of logical reasoning competencies,also divide the questionnaire and establish a scoring standard,thereby divide the level of students' logical reasoning competencies.(2)Difference analysis and level correlation analysis are conducted for students' logical reasoning competencies level rather than test total score,to ensure the scientific and effectiveness of the analysis.
