In recent years,the research on core competencies is so hot that makes all disciplines particularly focus on the development of their own core competencies.High school ideological and political curriculum,as a combination of knowledge and moral education in high school,should not only focus on students' knowledge and ability,but also emphasize the cultivation of students' quality.In order to pursue the enrollment rate,many schools often neglect the cultivation of students' quality in the process of teaching.They only focus on students' academic achievements,making students become the machine of college entrance examination.To break the current teaching philosophy and in terms of the future social development needs of students,establish a core competencies training for the purpose of teaching subject has become the current senior high school teaching reform direction,but also it carries out the inevitable requirement of educational policy.In addition to requiring students to master basic political knowledge in Political Life,the more important thing is to cultivate students' cooperative ability,rational spirit,responsibility and public participation in the process of teaching.However,the senior high school students are still in the campus,rarely have the opportunity to participate in the actual political activities.The curriculum demands disconnect with the real life,which can easily lead to the disconnection between theory and practice.Although the basic requirements of group cooperative learning teaching method are not equal to the basic qualities in political life,there are some similarities.Properly use the group cooperative learning teaching method in the teaching of Political Life can effectively cultivate the students' cooperative consciousness,rational spirit,responsibility and participation ability in this subject,which is beneficial to thestudents' political life after they got into society.In today's teaching process,due to various factors,teachers mainly use inculcation based teaching method,which is difficult to cultivate students' competencies.This paper focuses on the feasibility of group cooperative learning in the teaching of Political Life,in order to explore an effective and practical teaching method to this course's teaching,and cultivate some basic competencies required in the course of teaching.Based on the sorting out and thinking of group cooperative learning teaching method,this paper studies and analyzes the feasibility of this teaching method in Political Life from the following three parts.The first part is to elaborate the advantages of group cooperative learning teaching method in the course of teaching.The second part is to explore the value of group cooperative learning in the course of teaching.Combining some of the core competencies required by the course,the third part is from the four aspects of the operation of the teaching method of pre-class preparation stage,organization operation stage,evaluation and reflection phase and the application case to explore the specific operation paths of group cooperative learning teaching method in the course of teaching.
