Aesthetic education refers to the educational practice activity of educating students to learn about beauty,appreciate beauty and create beauty by using every means about beauty.Aesthetic education has long been limited to the field of art.In recent years,with the development of education in China,the aesthetic education has gained more attention.Our country advocates that aesthetic education should be combined with the subject teaching,and that aesthetic education should be infiltrated into subject education.Subject education can also use the method of aesthetic education to improve its teaching result.Ideological and political class of senior high school is a course that helps students to set up correct values,cultivate their taste and shape their personalities.Its education objective is to cultivate one’s moral character and develop talents,which is consistent with the objective of aesthetic education,enhancing moral sense and cultivating personality.And the method of aesthetic education is often borrowed by moral education.Therefore,in the political class teaching,the educator can also use the method of aesthetic education to carry out classroom teaching.Using humanistic theory and people-oriented education concept and cognitive learning theory,this paper discusses the necessity,importance and feasibility of applying aesthetic education method in the politics teaching of senior high school through literature research,empirical research and research method,and puts forward specific measures for improvement based on the reality.The paper is divided into five parts:The first part discusses the background and the current research status of the application of aesthetic education method in politics teaching,describes the methods and steps of the research and illustrates the significance of the research.In the second part,the basic theory overview defines the connotations of politics course in senior high school,aesthetic education,and the aesthetic education method applied in the politics course,these three concepts.It also states that in political class,the aesthetic education method will often be used to cultivate students’ moral sense and promote their study of subject knowledge,and introduces the main implementation methods and characteristics.In the third part,the reasons and effect of the application of aesthetic education method in the teaching of politics course of senior high school from the aspects of its necessity,importance and feasibility,and the internal relation between aesthetic education method and the teaching of politics course is discussed.It maintains that aesthetic education method has important promoting effect on moral education and intellectual education.The application of aesthetic education method can meet the needs of students,promote the integration of aesthetic education and politics,and helps to realize the national educational policy of promoting the development of aesthetic education.In the fourth part,research data is used to illustrate the current status of the application of aesthetic education method in politics teaching,and analysis is conducted on the advantages and disadvantages.The reasons for the effect of aesthetic education method application are summarized.The last part puts forward improvement measures based on survey data and teaching practice.It maintains that educators should start from broadening the material selection and activity forms,and also improve the teaching environment.Most importantly,seize the opportunity to realize the transformation between the aesthetic education method and the political education objectives.
