The new curriculum reform has advanced in depth,which has set higher goals for learners and also pointed out the direction for educators to improve their abilities.As a compulsory course for high school students,ideological and political education should also follow the trend of new curriculum reform,improve the form of student learning,change the educators' inappropriate understanding of teaching,and strive to cultivate learners to have correct values and high ideals' people.The Model Education Method is vivid,intuitive,contagious,and persuasive.It is an effective way to influence learners in high school politics classes.Applying the Model Education Method to ideological and political lessons can not only attract students' interest in learning,but also shape students' beliefs under the guidance of example ideas and accomplish the task of establishing morality in ideological and political lessons.In the new era,with the increasing popularity of multimedia equipment,the teaching conditions have been improved,and the teaching methods of using example materials in teaching have become more abundant.Therefore,educators also choose this method for teaching more.As the Model Education Method is widely used in teaching,some problems have gradually emerged,making the effectiveness of Model Education Method ineffective.This article,after understanding the relevant content of the Model Education Method,deeply analyzes the problems that arise when the Model Education Method is used in the course of "Cultural Life" in high school,and proposes corresponding improvement measures.This will help teachers complete the teaching goals and cultivate students political subjects' key competence and better play of the educational role of high school politics in moral education have important guiding significance.In order to show the effect of a better Model Education Method and improve the teaching and learning of the "Cultural Life" textbook in the ideological and political lesson,the author read a lot of literature related to the Model Education Method and high school ideological and political classes,and selected questionnaire survey methods and classroom observation methods.To explore the application of the example model method in "Cultural Life".Through analysis,it was found that teachershad some problems when applying the Model Education Method in High School "Cultural Life" : the teaching method was relatively simple,the selected example characters were inappropriate,the interpretation of the example cases was not deep enough,and they did not play their role as a model example and There are insufficient practical opportunities to imitate role models.At the same time,in the study of the "Cultural Life",students also have problems in cognition of ideological and political lessons and role models,lack of initiative to actively practice role models,and a single way to obtain information on role models.Aiming at the problems arising from the application of the Model Education Method in "Cultural Life",the author gives corresponding improvement methods from the teacher level and the student level,and applies them in specific classrooms to achieve a certain effect.Therefore,when educators apply the Model Education Method to the "Cultural Life",they must continuously discover problems and constantly propose constructive improvement methods to better demonstrate the effectiveness of the Model Education Method,achieve ideological and political lessons and lay the foundation for the goal of educating people.
