The problem of children's health education has been highly concerned by the party and the government.Many guiding documents have been issued for children's sports activities,which have led and promoted the extensive and in-depth development of children's physical education.However,due to the relatively lagging behind in the research of children's physical education in China,it is not able to further explore the practical needs of children's physical education from the perspective of teaching theory,thus affecting the effective development of children's physical education.Therefore,based on the current situation and actual needs of children's physical education in our country,this study explores the contents of mini basketball teaching that can effectively promote children's physical quality development,enriches children's sports teaching contents,and enriches children's basketball teaching contents.This research is mainly about the design and arrangement of mini basketball teaching content based on the development of children's physical quality through literature,investigation,experiment and measurement.And draw the following conclusions:(1)the design of mini basketball teaching content based on the development of children's physical quality,should be based on the action development theory and development characteristics of the zone of proximal development theory and practical experience,children's physical and mental development of children's mini basketball is the premise to carry out.The design principles should take into account the principles of safety,the integration of the whole and the parts,the principle of intuition,the principle of interest,the principle of education,the principle of gradual progress and the principle of variability.(2)in the aspects of teaching content design and selection should be based on dribbling,passing and shooting as the main line,to the development of speed,strength and other physical quality is the connotation of appeal;considering the system diversity and the development of physical quality training content was prominent in the schedule;should pay attention to the game method and competition method in the teaching process.(3)after the teaching experiment,the scores of the 10 meter return run,the standing long jump,the double leg continuous jump,the tennis throw far,the sitting body forward flexion and the balance beam performance of the experimental group were significantly better than those of the control group.It shows that this design has effectively promoted the development of children's physical quality in the course of mini basketball teaching.(4)compared with the control group,the students' interest inPhysical Education in the experimental group was more significant than that of the control group.It is proved that the mini basketball is simple and easy in design and vivid in image,which is in line with the physical and mental characteristics of the children.
