Historical books are important carriers for people to understand the diversity of history.According to the different people,historians often use different historical knowledge at different levels to complete the task of national identity education.According to specific requirements,the history textbooks in middle schools that have been selected and arranged by materials are the knowledge systems for young people of certain ages who know history.As the most important educational material,history textbooks have important educational functions.How to develop and develop the historical knowledge narrative of middle school students so that they can receive,understand,and recognize the best results of historical learning.This is the first step to better play the role of educating people in the process of teaching and is to complete this educational function.The key link.The object of the study was taken from the “New World History” of the Yachi edition,The study will introduce the background,system,content,and writing characteristics of textbooks in order to analyze their educational functions through the analysis of textbooks in the “New World History” textbook.In the direction of writing,content selection,and expression,this version fully complies with the syllabus of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education.The content of the book is rich in history,tailored,and clear in context.It seeks to help students master the historical development of the 20 th century and the interrelationship between the world.The selection of content is based on the value orientation of developing inclusive citizens with a global perspective.It also re-energizes student thinking to match the “inquiry learning model” advocated in the Diploma of Secondary Education(KDSE)course.In terms of textbook writing skills,both the exercises and the content analysis are close to the curriculum.The content and form of the exam,the book also uses a variety of historical materials,such as text,pictures,cartoons,charts and data,etc.,to enhance students' interest in learning,and to cultivate students' ability to analyze historical data from multiple angles.The "New World History" has changed from the modernization and transformation of Asia in the 20 th century.Through introducing the struggles and struggles of the Eastern countries under the oppression of the Western powers,the students have been educated on the human rights consciousness from the side;through international efforts to maintain peace,Trying to educate students to understand that they are commensurate with modern rule of law society is a sense of civic rules and develop students' awareness of the rules of working in accordance with laws,regulations,and systems.After learning the entire set of textbooks,students can clearly understand the difficulties and challenges faced by humans in the past,and learn that In the 20 th century,mankind's pursuit of democracy,freedom,and equality eventually became citizens with a global vision,a sense of citizenship,and a sense of responsibility.
