The "Situation and policy" course is a compulsory elective course of Ideological and political theory course for undergraduates and junior college students in China.It is also an important part of Ideological and political education in Colleges and universities.With the guidance of Marx Lenin doctrine,Mao Zedong thought,Deng Xiaoping theory and the important thought of "Three Represents" and the socialist ideology of Chinese characteristics in the new era of Scientific Outlook on Development and Xi Jinping,it helps college students to understand the basic principles and policies of the party,and to understand the major current affairs and hot issues at home and abroad,and strengthen the problems in time and abroad.Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China,we should take the confidence of the socialist road with Chinese characteristics and make it an ideological and political education course for the qualified builders and successors of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.The course of "situation and policy" plays an important role in the ideological and political education of college students.It plays an important role in improving college students' comprehensive quality,broadening their vision,strengthening sense of responsibility and overall view,and establishing correct values,outlook on life and world outlook.According to the opinion on Further Strengthening and improving the ideological and political theory of colleges and universities by the State Council of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China,the "situation and policy" courses have been set up in various universities in Jilin Province in 2005.This study mainly selected the following universities,the two first-class universities,Jilin University,the provincial university of Changchun University,the provincial Co Construction University,Changchun University of Science and Technology,and the Changchun College of Finance and economics.It has been more than 10 years since the four colleges and universities have opened the course of "situation and policy".The course of "situation and policy" in four colleges and universities has accumulated rich experience and found representative problems in practice.This article is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly expounds the background,purpose,methods and the necessity and significance of the research.In the complex and complex domestic and international situation,it is necessary to help college students to master the current affairs accurately,to guide the students to develop in an all-round way and to train them to be qualified socialist successors of Chinese characteristics.The second part mainly focuses on the current situation of "situation and policy" teaching in four colleges and universities,and expounds the status of the curriculum,the status of teaching form,the present situation of teaching content,the present situation of teaching effect and the current situation of teaching management.Jilin University,Changchun University and Changchun University of Science and Technology are taught mainly in one or two semesters.The Changchun Institute of Finance and economics begins in the third semester.Four colleges and universities are taught in the form of special topics.Most colleges and universities adopt the teaching form of combination of classroom teaching and practice teaching.The third part,through questionnaires and practical research,expounds the achievements and problems of the "situation and policy" course in four universities.At first,the achievements of the four colleges and universities have been affirmed.Under the teaching and practice teaching form of the theory teaching and practice,the students have a more accurate understanding of the changes in the domestic and international situation through the teacher's explanation,and the overall satisfaction is good.However,it is also found that the timeliness of teaching content is not enough,the teacher's knowledge specialization is not strong,the students are not high in the course of learning and the form of examination is single,so it can not accurately grasp the students' mastery of the situation.The fourth part,mainly aimed at the problems found in the teaching situation of "situation and policy" course in four colleges and universities,and put forward some suggestions from the perspective of teachers,the content of teaching and the management of teaching.In the teaching process,we should highlight the main position of students and apply various teaching methods to improve the timeliness,pertinence and theoretical depth of teaching content.We should strengthen the training of teachers,and improve the teaching evaluation mechanism,examination mechanism and teaching mode,so as to achieve the desired teaching effect.The fifth part,the conclusion.This paper is a summary of the full text.Taking the teaching situation of "situation and policy" in Jilin Province as the background,through the questionnaire and the method of practical investigation,the achievements and problems of the "situation and policy" course of Jilin University,Changchun University,Changchun University of Science and Technology and Changchun Institute of Finance and economics are analyzed in depth.And some suggestions are put forward in view of these problems.
