Because of its unique advantages,blended learning is used in basic teaching.Blended learning has the advantages of traditional teaching and online learning,which can promote the interaction between teachers and students.It also satisfies the requirements of students' self-learning.Blended learning can increase the interest of the course,focus students' attention and reduce their psychological stress.Blended learning added new elements and new ways of presenting knowledge,which broke the traditional teaching mode.However,there are few researches on the application of blended learning in chemistry teaching.In this paper,in order to achieve better teaching effect,blended learning is applied in the high school chemistry teaching practice,which is under the support of modern information technology.Firstly,this article carried out a questionnaire survey of the chemistry teachers,who are of 20 high schools in six counties of Shangqiu city.The status quo of teachers' use of modern information technology in teaching and concept cognition are known through questionnaire.The statistics shows 37.00% of teachers whose teaching age is less than five years.The statistics shows 29.20% of teachers whose teaching age is over 15 years.The survey covers all age groups of teachers.The data is representative.73.97% of teachers have knowed modern information technology,which provide technology supports for the application of modern information technology.Most teachers praise modern information technology can stimulate students' interest.For example,92.5% of teachers believe that modern information technology can stimulate students' interest.However,the application of modern information technology in teaching is still in primary stage.For example,only 9.59% of teachers believe that the conditions of their school are excellent,which are very suitable for modern information technology teaching.It shows that the infrastructures of some schools are not perfect.Only 20.56% of teachers use modern information technology in teaching,for example,multimedia,micro-course online video,web pages,etc.Most teachers believe that modern information technology is an assisted instruction tool,but they don't have too much understanding or thinking on how to assist teaching.Secondly,according to the characteristics of high school chemistry knowledge,combining with the cognitive characteristics of high school students,the author mixes online learning with traditional learning.This article takes chapter three of Compulsory II of the PEP edition as an example.After consulting a large amount of information,the teacher designs the cases “ethylene” and “ethyl alcohol”.I select the senior one students of Minquan No.1 High School as the research object.This study chose experimental class and control class to conduct teaching experiment.Take class 15 as the experimental class,which uses blended learning teaching method.Take class 16 as the control class,which still uses traditional teaching method.This article in-depth analyzes the teaching materials and students.Students of class 15 learn independently with the help of iPad.In teaching experiments,before class,the teacher upload learning materials to the QQ group of the teaching experimental class,which will help students prepare for class.In class,under the guidance of the teacher,students learn independently,who discuss with each other and present their academic achievements.After class,students submit electronic homework in QQ group.The teacher use voice to answer questions in QQ group,and guide students to speak positively and discuss with each other.The teacher comment exercises in QQ group.The students get corresponding rewards,who participate in discussions actively.Thirdly,this article adopted questionnaires,interviews,observe students' classroom performance and test results,which is to discuss and analyze the effect of blended learning in chemical teaching.Before teaching experiment,the average score of the two classes are the same,which suggests the basis of the two classes is the same.Taking ethylene test results as an example,the class 15 is better than the class 16.The statistics shows that the average score of the class 15 is 5.8 points higher than the class 16.The excellent rate of class 15 is 20.00% more than that of class 16.It shows that the blended learning can significantly improve the performance of students.And it can significantly improve the rate of excellence.56.00% of students love blended learning.72.00% of students think blended learning is interesting.40.00% of students believe it can reduce their psychological stress.And 40.00% of students believe blended learning make them concentrated.Compared with the class 16,the submission rate and completion rate of students of the class 15 are higher.The result shows that students love blended learning,and they think chemistry is more interesting.Most students want to apply it to other subjects.The article combines modern information technology with blended learning,which is used in high school chemical teaching.And it achieves good teaching results.This article provides a reference for practical teaching,especially for the teaching of organic compounds of the compulsory part.
