The 19 th National Congress proposed the concept of "three hearts" for education and teaching in the new era, that is,to be happy at the elementary school stage,to be active at the middle school stage, and to be meditation at the college graduate stage. The purpose of "live" in the middle school is to hope that students will gradually establish their own understanding through continuous learning, understanding themselves and understanding the world.Based on this, geography learning not only grasps geography scientific knowledge, but also geography learning, cultivating students to use geography thinking and perspective to view issues, think about problems, deal with problems;so that students have a good understanding of the relationship between human and regional environment to form a correct view of harmony between people and sustainable development.Whether or not these requirements can be met,the key is whether students have developed an effective habit of geographical learning and migration in the process of geography learning. Therefore, the study of junior high school students' geography learning transfer ability has important practical significance. The research methods used in this paper mainly include literature analysis, questionnaire survey, interview and statistical analysis.Firstly, through the reading of a large number of related documents,we have initially grasped the development process of the migration theory, and on this basis,we have proposed the research background, research significance, theoretical basis and research ideas of this paper;secondly,it elaborates the connotation of geographical learning transfer and summarizes the research status of learning transfer at home and abroad;third,it uses questionnaires and interviews to investigate the current situation of junior high school students' geography learning transfer ability, and uses the questionnaire star,EXCEL,SPSS and other software perform statistical analysis on the questionnaire information;fourth, based on the above literature learning and the analysis of the questionnaire survey results,a specific strategy for cultivating junior high school students' migration ability is proposed, combined with the new curriculum requirements to design teaching cases;finally, summed up the main conclusions, innovations, inadequacies and prospects of this study. The core contents of this article mainly focus on the following two parts: First, the status quo of junior middle school geography teacher migration theory and junior middle school students' geography learning migration ability are investigated and analyzed in the form of questionnaires and interviews. It was found that most geography teachers affirmed the important role of the transfer theory in geography teaching;however, there were major confusions as to how to create a reasonable learning scenario,to break the students' learning thinking and to promote the effective occurrence of students' geographical learning transfer. In terms of students, although most students are interested in geography, there are deviations in the understanding of geography, lack of good motivation for learning, and poor ability to construct geography. This is a major problem that hinders students' geographical learning and migration.Second, according to the problems found in the investigation and research,we propose targeted teaching strategies. In the implementation of geography teaching,we should not only guide students to establish a good psychological state, but also create a reasonable teaching situation;they must also help students build cognitive skills structure.Through the cultivation of students' geography learning transfer ability,we must not only let “knowledge enter the classroom” but also let “knowledge go into life”;teachers should “teach for the sake of migration” and students must “learn what they use”.Combining with the proposed teaching strategies,we selected the seventh grade of the Geographical People's Education Press(above)“Population and Ethnicity(World Population Issues)” to design a teaching case to provide reference for junior middle school geography teachers to cultivate students' migration ability. The innovation of this paper lies in the innovation of research perspectives. The paper investigates the current situation of students' geography learning transfer ability from the aspects of teachers and students. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)there is still much room for improvement in the cultivation of junior students' geography learning transfer ability;(2)the cognitive structure and learning situation of students are the main factors affecting the ability of geographical migration;(3)The specific strategies for cultivating the ability of geography learning and migration for junior high school students are proposed.
