Under the background of the educational system reform to improve the quality of citizens,inspire students to learn independently,and cultivate their comprehensive capabilities as the fundamental purpose,this master's thesis explores the theories,status quo,and practical strategies of high school geographical situation teaching under the new curriculum standards.Practical significance.The paper starts with the idea of the new curriculum standard and the requirements of the new curriculum reform,combines with the modern educational teaching theory,constructs a set of principles,methods and evaluation system for the creation of geographical situation teaching;then,it uses an online questionnaire survey method to take the city of Guyuan in Ningxia as an example.Some senior high school geography teachers and interns from Yinchuan,Wuzhong,and Shizuishan were surveyed and investigated their attitudes to geography situation teaching,their implementation objectives,situation creation and application,implementation effects,and problems in the process.Statistical analysis of the survey data was conducted.Finally,relevant suggestions were proposed for the problems reflected in the survey.As a result,the design and implementation of the geography situational teaching case,as well as the examination and reflection of the effects were carried out.Through case design and teaching practice,the general principles and methods for the creation of geographical situations are effectively tested,which reflects the important role of geography situational teaching methods in students' interest mobilization,thinking training and expansion,and the use of practical abilities.This method is an effective teaching method that meets the requirements of the development of the new curriculum standard.It has a wide range of positive effects on improving students' comprehensive quality and is worth popularizing and popularizing.It is constantly enriched and improved in practice.
