The Analysis Of Chinese Language Learning Condition In Malaysia-A Case Study Of Chinese Independent High School In Kuching District

The emergence of China has encouragedthecontinually rising of economic values of Chinese language and itsintemational prestige.Consequently,there is now an upsurge in the number of people learning Chinese language and provide further development opportunity for overseas Chinese education system.To keep in step with the globalization trend,there’s a need for Malaysia government to implement relevant strategic adjustment in the prospect of economy,politic,culture and education.But somehow in Malaysia,although the Chinese Independent High School has a well-established overseas Chinese language education system,the Malaysia government,which has been in power for more than 60 years,has never recognized the Unified Examination Certificate(UEC).As a result,the Malaysia Chinese language education has faced up to the plight.This paper will focus on the Chinese learning situation on the Chinese independent high school in Kuching area.Through literature analysis and questionnaire survey,this paper will further analyze the condition of middle school student while they are learning Chinese.Firstly,I will uses the literature analysis method to explain the present situation,background,content,significance,theory and the development about the research of Chinese language education.After that,there questionnaire survey will be conducted to investigate the learning situation of the Chinese independent high school students in Kuching district of Malaysia.After elucidated the object and the purpose of the studies,method and steps have took for the investigation andthe designs of ideas,then I will start a statistically analyzed by using the collected data.The purpose of this paper is to explore the problems faced by the students in the process of learning Chinese and their feelings on the acquisition of Chinese studies.At the same time,I hopes this paper can successfully arouse the interest of the scholars to pay more attention in the study of the Chinese language teaching in Kuching district,and they can have further interest in the current situation of studying Chinese among the middle school students in Kuching.In this way,we can replenish the deficiency of the studies on Chinese language learning in Kuching.
