Composition are inseparable from human' s life, even if I am not a teacher or student,the ability of writing is still being tested. As, no matter what kind of job, it is vital to express our thoughts clearly in a systematic way. Hence, the way to express our thoughts clearly is through composition. The current society is one full of competition and explosive knowledge, cyber world covers everything. No matter what kind of knowledge,as long as you want to learn, nothing is impossible for you to learn. Despite you don't have time to study, you can find what you want to know through various kinds of teaching strategies. Despite the fact that students do not like writing and this situation has not improved. We, language teachers feel miserable while marking composotion. Thus, I tried to find methodology of composition-writing through theory that can better suit senior students of Foon Yew High School. Know problems that students and teachers encounter through questionnaire, try to find out the root cause and provide practical and feasible suggestion for teaching. The purpose of the research is to raise students' writing ability and reduce language teachers' anxiety in teaching.Thesis is categorized into five parts:The first part is introduction, mainly introduce the background, meaning, content and aims of the thesis. Study the thinking and briefly analyzed the current condition in domestic and abroad.The second part: Find out the problems that students and teachers encounter through questionnaire. Analyze the findings and identify the problems while teaching essays.The third part: Quote R.M. Gagne's Systematic Principle and E.P.Torrance's Creativity Principle to propose an essay-writing teaching method that best suit senior middle school students of Foon Yew High School.The fourth part: deals with the exploration and improvement of the principles of composition teaching. The author explores through the system, the creativity and the appreciation of the principles. Hence, suggest ways to improve composition teaching in Foon Yew High School.The fifth part: Propose effective strategy for specific problems. As reading ability brings far-reaching effect to writing ability. This study aims to arouse students' interest in reading and inspire students to have fun in writing through students' condition in class and students' standard. I hope to solve the problems that students and teachers encountered effectively.
