Since the reform and opening up,China has introduced a policy on promoting the development of female teachers.The number of female teachers has increased year by year.However,there is no obvious increase in the number of female teachers in the physical sciences and other fields,and the number of high school female physics teachers is still relatively small.In order to investigate whether the professional development level of high school female physics teachers is equal to that of male teachers,the gender difference of the occupational development level of high school physics teachers is clearly defined.The article takes the high school physics teacher as the object to conduct corresponding investigation and research.This paper analyzes women's gender characteristics and physics characteristics,and seeks to find out the reasons for the low career development of women in high school physics,and proposes corresponding countermeasures to promote the development of female physics teachers in both theoretical and practical aspects.In this study,the status indicators for the career development of middle school teachers were defined as titles,leadership,invited lectures,awards,hosting or participation in teaching and research topics.Investigate the distribution of indicators of the above-mentioned aspects of male and female physics teachers,and analyze the differences in gender,mind,physiology,psychology,and ideological concepts between men and women.(1)Considered from a personal level,women's awareness of their professional development is not strong enough,and there are differences between men and women in logical thinking.(2)From the family level,the family's cultivation of women is not conducive to the development of physics learning ability.Housework consumes too much time and energy for female physics teachers.(3)Considering from the school level,when recruiting new physics teachers,the school tends to choose men as high school physics teachers;there are fewer places for promotion of title titles.Compared with male teachers,female teachers are not easily qualified for higher physics titles.(4)From a social perspective,gender stereotypes affect the individuars perception and choice of self at each stage of child development.This leads to the majority of women abandoning physical science and other areas,often referred to as the phenomenon of "pipeline leakage"..Based on the above reasons,In this article,suggestions have been made to improve the quality of their own,cultivate bisexual temperament,and resist sex discrimination in the workplace.This will improve the difference in professional development of male and female physics teachers in high schools.
