Along with the in-depth development of the new curriculum reform,especiall y the implementation of the curriculum management policies at the national,local and school levels,part of the decision-making power of the curriculum is delega ted to schools,making school-based curriculum development possible.And starting to evolve from theory to reality.A large number of outstanding frontline teachers in primary and secondary schools have created typical experiences with full of t he spirit of the times and Chinese characteristics,and greatly promoted the resear ch process of school-based curriculum development.However,under the influence of the traditional examination-oriented education,the society,schools and parents pay more attention to the traditional examination subjects,neglecting and slighting the students’ life condition and quality of life.The mission of quality education requires that we not only pay attention to the development of students’ cognitive,but also attach importance to the improvement of the quality of students’ life.Considering aforementioned reality,this paper will develop a life-centered sch ool-based Curriculum based on Heze First Middle School.By means of the analy sis of the experience getting from theoretical research as well as practice both at home and abroad,Adopted three research methods:literature research,questionnair e survey and interview to complete the work.On the basis of satisfying the learn ing needs of students,and provides a reference for high school teachers.This paper mainly consists of four parts:The first part summarizes the research background,significance and methods of this paper.At the same time,it also analyzes the progress of school-based curriculum research at home and abroad,as well as the history and current situation of school-based curriculum development of life education in our country.The second part elaborates the core theoretical foundations related to school-based curriculum development,such as content,principles,and patterns.The third part focuses on the development process of life education school-based curriculum.Starting from reality,the author analyzes the campus environment through the SWOT scenario analysis method,confirmed the advantages and opportunities,disadvantages and threats that are suitable for the development of school-based curriculum of Life education;then make use of student questionnaires and interviews with teachers,understand the students,learning needs and teachers’ suggestions for curriculum development.;set course objectives,selection and organization of course contents,preparation of curriculum development guidelines,and preparation of teaching materials were followed.The fourth part summarizes some of the gains and feelings in the research process,and also gives an outlook on the future implementation of the life education curriculum in the high school.
