Self-concept is an individual's awareness and evaluation of his various aspects.The early stage is an important period for the development of children's self-concept,and its development is not invariable,so appropriate intervention is needed to help children form positive self-concept.This research mainly uses questionnaire survey,teaching experiment,observation and so on to explore the influence of picture reading teaching on the self-concept of large class children,and enrich the educational value of reading teaching.First of all,using the child self-concept Questionnaire(child questionnaire)to test the self-concept of five large-class children in kindergarten,according to the data results,two large classes with equivalent self-concept levels were selected as experimental class and control classes,then a picture book which was suitable for the physical and mental characteristics of the big class children and the self-concept was adopted.Through the way of collective teaching,the teaching class is read-reading.In the course of teaching experiment,the experimental class teachers focused on the changes in the self-concept of children,and recorded in the teacher's daily corrections notes.After three months of reading teaching activities,a home visit,do a good job home visits records.At the same time,the child self-concept Questionnaire(children's questionnaire)was used to test the self-concept of the experimental class and the control group.By using SPSS20.0 to carry out independent sample t test and paired sample T test,the comparison results were obtained: 1.There was no significant difference between self-concept and post Test level of children in control class;2.The self-concept level in the experimental class was significantly higher than that in the previous test,3.The self-concept level of the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control classes.Secondly,the teacher's daily corrections and home visit records are analyzed,and the results are as follows: The self-concept of young children is obviously improved.Shows that the teaching of picture reading in this study has a positive effect on the improvement of children's self-concept level.Finally,it is concluded that the reading teaching can improve the self-concept level of the large class children,so teachers should make a scientific and reasonable reading teaching scheme to help the young children form a positive self-concept.
