The Study Of Senior High School Students' Lack Of Interests In Ideological And Political Course And Its Improvement

The ideological and political course in senior high school is not only aimed to impart theoretical knowledge to students,but also focuses on cultivating students' world outlook,outlook on life and values.Learning interests affect the effectiveness of moral education in ideological and political course in senior high school.However,according to my survey,discussion with my colleagues and my usual observation,students are lack of interests in learning Therefore,the research on the influencing factors of learning interests in high school ideological and political course will help further enrich the subject theory and provide theoretical support for high school teaching.It will also meet the need of implementing the spirit of the new curriculum reform and improving the effectiveness of high school students' ideological and political teaching.This study is based on my teaching practice which can be divided into four parts in addition to the introduction.The introduction introduces the origin and significance,the current situation,the summary,along with the ideas and methods of the study.The first part defines the concepts related to high school students' learning interests in ideological and political course and clarifies the importance of learning interests:it will help students improve their learning effect,their ability to analyze and solve practical problems,at the same time cultivate their scientific world outlook,outlook on life and values.The second part explains the current status of high school students' learning interest in ideological and political course and their performance in learning.Current status:the overall learning interest in ideological and political class is not high;the science-humanities division has a great influence on students' interests in learning;the political class recognition is not high;the students have a strong utilitarian purpose of learning;the boys and girls have inconsistent preference for teaching materials.Aspects of performance:students are lack of initiative in learning;students' attitude in learning are not serious;students are not good at using the knowledge which they have learned to solve problems.The third part describes the main influencing factors of learning interests in high school ideological and political course,the main reasons for the low interests of students are affected by the teaching environment and the quality of teachers.The complex teaching environment includes impetuous utilitarian social and family environment,a single curriculum setting and evaluation system of school,as well as the influence of teaching material in ideological and political course.The ragged group of teachers mainly include:the lack of personal charm of teachers,the traditional teaching methods,the weak awareness of learning,and the failure to implement the new curriculum reform concept.The forth part is to improve the students' interests in ideological and political course,and puts forward countermeasures from three aspects.First,students should exert their subjective initiative and improve their interests in learning.Second,optimize the teaching environment from the perspective of social environment,family environment,evaluation system and teacher-student relationship.Finally,the "supply side" reform should be carried out to improve the "supply" quality of the course:for example,school should carry out political activities,improve the "supply" quality of the activity class and enrich the school-based curriculum;comprehensively promote teachers' skills and provide quality courses;teachers should take flexible and diversified teaching methods and clever use of class and other extracurricular resources to build a learning platform.
