Along with the development of time,the theory and concept of teaching is improving day by day,so are the teaching methods.Since the start of the new curriculum reform,the definition and transformation of teacher's role had been discussed frequently,they asked the teachers to change their roles from traditional imparting knowledge and executing textbooks' content to instructors of students' life,cooperators of learning,psychologists of students' mental health,constructors of knowledge,and designers of a curriculum.But if we view these roles based on the present teaching,we may find these expectations for teachers are too empty,too general and too ideal.This thesis thought the implementing of the new curriculum scheme for senior high school and the 3+3 pattern for admission examination would provide platforms for the practicing of the roles as tutor and constructors of school-based curriculum.During the trial implementation of the new curriculum scheme for senior high school and the 3+3 pattern for admission examination in Shanghai and Zhejiang Province,Tianshui NO.1 senior high school brought in the tutorial system and the development of school-based curriculum to get ready for the deepen curriculum reform.Based on the practicing of the two roles physics teachers play in T senior high school,this thesis investigated the problems occurred in the process,sought the cause of the problem and provided suggestions,so to give advice for the implementation of the two roles in later period in Gansu Province.There were five chapters in this thesis.Chapter One expounded the background,purpose,meaning,methods and ideas of the study.Chapter Two discussed the definition and research review of teacher's role,tutor and conductor of school-based curriculum.Chapter Three talked about the practice of traditional and new roles in physics teaching situations.Chapter Four was the investigation in forms of questionnaire and interview relied on T senior high school,reached the conclusion according to the survey data and findings.Chapter Five provided proposal and expectations of the two new roles practicing.
